Due to COVID19 I lost my job. Never heard of George to the Rescue until 2-3 week's ago. Talk about binge watching this show!! I was watching too much news & feeling bummed out, now I've watched over 20 of these shows, maybe more! This little boy made me cry, what a sweetheart. To see him go get a hug from George at the end, oh man. George is my new hero, seriously. To anyone who reads this, I'm sending lots of love 💘 from Canada 🇨🇦.

I love how friends of dad take his son fishing even if it’s not the same as dad it’s still so sweet to hear. They’ve been through so much tragedy in so glad they were picked for this.

This young boy is so expressive and authentic. Just love to watch him having these strong reactions. This is beautiful! Just for this was worth it.

Colin talking about his dad passing broke my heart, you could hear his voice breaking, I know exactly how he feels, I lost my dad young but not as young as him however still hurts all the same... poor little guy.

I just love how George takes the time to really connect with the kids with whom he works. Busy team with renos to do and yet he takes the time to go fishing and perhaps makes a young boy's heartache a little bit less by showing he cares. 💕

This young man is genuinely thoughtful and respectful..

I've cried during a good number of the home reveals....but this one really had my eyes flowing at top speed. The look on the son's face as he took in the finished rooms. That young man was floored by what he was seeing and having a hard time believing his eyes. I hope that mom and son have years of happiness and joy ahead of them as they have been through the ringer enough.

My favorite episode of this series. A boy losing his father at such a young age helped out by a caring man. Nothing better. You can just see the need throughout this episode and the fishing at the end is priceless. Hope mom and son are thriving.

It was very sad to hear that they had lost a parent, a dad, a husband, a friend. It was even worst they had to go through such a storm that it wiped out their home and lost everything. But what was AMAZING is how the hole community came together for this family. It just goes to show there are good people out there with great hearts, huge hearts, to show there support for one another.

At the risk of sounding like a weirdo, I’d just love to give that family a big hug... that boy, especially, is so precious...

Aw this little boy is so sweet what he has been through in his young life hes standing strong and when he spoke about his father it was so heartwarming and so sad. God bless him and his mom .. he reminds me of my son when he was only 5 he lost his granddad and he was really close they were best friends and inseparable .. he passed from a heart attack and i had to tell him and that was the worst thing i have ever had to do. When my dad went to hospital after his attack which we didn't know what it was at the time .. he had said he had a m.o.t. and was fitter than all of us .. we were talking about Christmas of that year in 1997 and my son said "You won't be here at Christmas Granddad you will be in heaven!" We were gob smacked and after we just laughed it off not knowing that it was going to come true. It was as if he knew what was going to happen but at 5 year old how could he of known. To this day he doesn't know why he said it and he blamed himself for years for his passing but we said no it wasn't his fault it was just one of those strange things that kids may say. I admit it was strange and how could he of known what was going to happen as if he was told subconsciously .. any way he was an out going chatty boy but after his granddad died he was quieter than usual. Now hes 27 with his own children who sadly both have ASD, but then cope and im so proud of him in many ways. Like this little boy he had gone through so much in his young life too. I just have one question .. why don't they use bricks if the homes are prone to be damaged in storms? I always wondered why they don't use them. His father would be so proud of him hes intelligent polite and so brave to go through all that and taking care of his mom too hes so loved bless his heart. The boys face said millions he was so grateful and his mom was very grateful to the people who helped. May they love their home and be so happy there for many years to come .. xx
