What if the hose is leaking where the medal part next to where you tighten it. After you've tightened and put Teflon tape on it ? New washer and hose 2mos old

Teflon won't help, the seal is between the metal of the service connection and metal of the inner part of the hose, only the rubber o ring seals it. If still leaking something is not right, take apart and examine all those parts, look for rough edge or broken rubber o ring.
