It's all about wanting you to buy packs, guys. You already know this. It's the same thing on ANY sports game. They give you free trash to try and make you buy a card that's rated 1 or 2 levels higher, and the ones you have to buy are ALWAYS the best you can get at the time. The problem is...you don't get the top cards.. you get the bottom cards more than 85% of the time.
I have not played the game as much as last year, and I think I have ripped about 300 standard packs in total. No diamonds. I would choose 1K Stubbs from that pack every time because standard packs are a joke. And yes those choice packs I believe are just filler.
I like the Program. Best part is the 7500 XP with every card. I hit the XP Cap before the Program started, so its extra XP to te Rewards Bar. Which it gets me closer to the second 99 card pack so i can either get Larry or Roy.
@@johnnywarner4468 maybe the problem isn't the cards but the person using them. Every card plays differently for everyone. I can't use Frank Thomas (any variation of him). All I get is singles with him but I'm sure others hit homers with him all day long.
@@wesleysteeleiv idk, I can play a game and get 25 hits. Then, the same team, line up and all, only get like 6. Everything I hit goes straight to a fielder. When I foul a ball off that says good timing on the swing... its an automatic out. Wheather it's a ground out or a pop out....its ALWAYS AN OUT. I always predict what's gonna happen by the 1st swing or 2. You can tell, plain as day.
honestly the packs are giving probably around 1.8k stubs per open if i could estimate. The whole 1k stubs choice I feel like is just a lazy. Its very counter intuitive to give players a choice to select an option that goes against the whole point of the game which is to collect cards. Just impliment more reward levels and put around 2.5k stubs per level. Otherwise just add it in at the end like the 7.5k exp is given.
Would be fun if the Baez card had like 25 vision and discipline but everything else was great, all these cards feel the same this year without considering captain boosts
