Hi im a florist and a few tips if you love keeping flowers and want them to last as long as possible. 1.Cutting the stems and at and angle is perfect but also cutting them every few days will keep the end of the stem from sealing and your flowers can drink lots of water and last longer.2 change the water often everyday to every other day is best. 3 taking off a lot of the greenery. the greens take a lot of water from the flower itself and taking most of it off will help also. 4 never let greenery or leaves get in the water always take the leaves off at least to the water line. leaves in water causes bacteria growth that will kill your flowers. Hope this helps if you didn't already know :) LOVE the flowers you chose and all your new stuff!! the Barstools are SO CUTE!

PS: Am I the only one who likes the aqua tile? If I were you I would show it off, not try to hide it! I would paint the walls in a shade of red and that would look great!

The striped curtains add a touch of elegance to the bedroom. And the lower profile & dark stain of the new barstools made a huge difference. Also, the cream upholstery ties in to the kitchen cabinets...🤷🏻‍♀️ Would love to see the flower arrangements and staged vignettes. 🌹

Better choice! Less chumminess. The slimmer the furniture the more open the look. The upholstery is fine because it uses less space. Your space is SMALL. A heavy drape is better short. A lighter weight curtain will make your space look larger.❤

I don't think I love the green in the living room but I think I love the burgandy wine colour on your kitchen floor in your living room, so I would say reupholster in a burgandy that matches the kitchen floor. And they will work with the green ones in the kitchen.

I normally don't go for anything close to boho but those aged bamboo stools are EVERYTHING. Love that they aren't just aesthetically pleasing and that you've prioritized comfort. Both sets of bamboo stools are so good in their own way- I can't wait to see what fabric you choose!

I must also admit that I love your bathroom tile -- especially the turquoise part and would really play it up (rather than fight against it), like with a complimentary wall paint -- brownish-peach or maybe even a brownish-burgundy? Paige, love the drapes and stools. The mirror shelf looks great and that was the perfect spot for it. Now, about the bathroom. I don’t even live there and I have had an issue with it, not that you asked. I think for me, it’s the colour of the tiles. My very amateur opinion on it would be to lean into a mono chromatic paint scheme in there. Repaint the bathroom walls a colour close to the tile colour and then have the shower curtain as the accent colour. Take it or leave it, just a suggestion that wasn’t asked for. Lol

upholstery on new stools colorwise seems to match trim exactly. I think they should blend in well, which they do heightwise very well - so no new upholstery.

Those bamboo stools need a red patterned fabric 100% - with the other stools having a teal fabric - red and teal is such a great color combo!!

The stools are awesome! I see their shape/lines before I see them as bamboo. And the shape suggests art deco to me, which is really cool with the checkered pattern in the kitchen floor. I think you should play off of the cushions on your other stools if you reupholster the new ones-do something with contrasting piping like the others have. Seems like a red/maroon or forest green would be a nice choice with white or cream piping.

LOVE the new barstools. They really elevate the space, makes it look so elegant. Such a great find! Seat reupholstering could have a nice contrasting coloured piping. I’m seeing yellow/lime green tones, but a deep wine red could be fun too.

Those stools are 10,000x better! I normally prefer a pattern, but I actually really like the neutral on those cushions. Love the vibe. It's still very mid-century, which fits in well with what you have.

Love the bar stools!! So rule #1 of hanging curtains is to go as close the the ceiling as possible, so maybe move yours up in the bedroom, and you can do the same in the bathroom so you cover the tile completely. No more teal 😊

Instead of fighting the kiddish turquoise tiles in your bathroom, why not lean into it and go for primary colours? You could get a cobalt blue plaid shower curtain and some bright yellow or red accents.

New stools are are a much better fit in terms of weight and proportion. If you want a common link with your other backless stools you could carry through the cream/white piping onto the new cushions and introduce a small print fabric with a tiny amount of the dark green in it. I wouldn't go with a bold print or solid colour as they will be seen alongside your sofas and rug, not the other stools. Great updates - mirror thingy is weird and wild and wonderful in your space - and always enjoy your videos. Thank you.

I love the stools - also rattan gets a bad rap for only belonging in boho style. It’s a lot more versatile and classic and you found the correct use for it ❤

I love the new barstools a lot! I like the fabric as is, but if you wanted to match it more to the other stools you could do white/cream with dark green piping. Like reversed colors from the other stools so they kinda play off of each other.

the stools are fricking perfect! they totally look like they've always been there and tie it all in. they're also way more inviting you just want to sit and hang out :) I actually really like the fabric and normally I don't love white white white but they look canvas-y? and the white or cream or whatever is actually I think what makes them work in with everything somehow. I'm sure you'd do a great job no matter what though. I would keep the fabric light colored for sure though.

I like the barstools just as they are...I wouldn't change the seat covers. They suit your home perfectly !! They don't have to match the other stools, I like the difference.

At first when you said bamboo I pictured the very 80s light toned chunky rattan...but because they are darker and slimmer they read more like a bentwood style stool, so it works well in your space. Like you later said, it's more French bistro than boho. Love the mirror too!

Good call on the new Bentwood barstools! The others were way too heavy for that bar. I’ve never considered splitting the shower curtain… I’m not sure how I feel about it, but I’m kinda liking the idea. Like you, I have a window in the middle of one of my showers and it’s wall-to-wall so actually an ideal circumstance for the split shower curtain. So happy to see you move the bedroom curtain rod up higher on the wall. Also happy to see I’m not the only one who wants to change things out monthly… or sometimes more. The friend who does slipcovers cushions, etc. was over yesterday. She wants to make sure I’m happy with my choice. I just purchased 10 yards of rather expensive fabric that it was now questioning. She said well you could sell it and buy exactly what you want… After she left, my husband said “you two are the perfect storm of indecision.”😂 looking forward to your next ‘ check out this FING home’ episode!
