I always wanted one but thought I’d never get one because of the cost. Then they bought out that super dark green one. I’m going to have to have it. Who cares that I only have two kitchen cupboards at the moment. The savings pot is now for the kitchen aid.

I love the flowers! One little tip that would help your flowers to hydrate. You would want to put the flower food and water inside the counter/vase first before you start trimming the stems of roses. Only have a few seconds to put the roses in the water, to help them rehydrate. Something I learned in Floral Design Institute. I love the harmony, very summer colors. As someone born in 1987 I appreciated your Polly Pocket collection SO MUCH!! I have 5 sisters all around the same age and last year for Christmas I bought each of them their favorite toy from our childhood it was pretty amazing actually. I bought vintage Polly pocket, sky dancers, pleasant dreams stuffed animals, a tickle me Elmo and vintage caboodle,we also loved lamb chop as well as wishbone in our home
It's crazy how much toys from the 80s and early 90s are worth. I wish I'd kept all my super old Polly Pockets. I remember having the fairytale castle in the older heart shape style. It had a golden swan and a secret door behind the suit of armour. I'm glad you've saved a bit of your childhood!

I was actually preparing a big bulk of sheep wool that I got from Sheepishly Me, which is Sandi Brock on here. I want to crochet a hat for my mum as a birthday present for her (her brithday is on Wednesday) and it just took me ages, because that wool doesn't come in a ball like I'm used to... took me all the video and then some to finish rolling it up properly so I can use it easily 😅 I'm excited to make a hat out of sheep wool, though.
I super love this sort of day in the life kind of thing. It was a nice kind of spend the day running errands kind of thing that I enjoy doing with a friend, but as I'm feeling poorly, it was nice to go along with you.
Those polly pockets are full of nostalgia, I wish I still had mine. Turning the lights on in the little house or putting your little person to sleep in the little clock. I miss it!

Love your flowers! They last longer if you use a knife to cut them. That way you don't squish the stem. They also enjoy being in the fridge (in the vase with water) after arriving (for a night for example) and then being cut again.
That's true. Especially with roses, which don't like to have their stems crushed. They also start to "heal" immediately, so it's a good idea to cut them under water and get them in the vase as fast as possible 🌹
Let us friends attending leakycon load your suitcase with tootsie rolls. They also come in miniature one inch fruit flavors too. Some are cherry flavored
I like vlogs like this! Nice to know I’m not the only one who goes out to buy a present and comes home with 2 extra bags of things that I don’t really need! And I would definitely have had to try that candy! I live in Canada so I’ve had the moon pies and tootsie rolls before and I can take them or leave them but if you put white chocolate on something I am usually willing to give it a go! I’m not so mobile anymore so my husband does the shopping usually but he likes to surprise me with treats and if I do go shopping with him (it’s handy to have someone to carry everything!) we always buy a ton more stuff than when he shops alone. I think it’s a special talent females are born with 😊
Ohhh can you please do a separate video of all the Polly Pockets and bits and pieces at the bottom of the box? That looks like LPS, Littlest Pet Shop toys in the green boxes too. They were just as amazing. I'm a 1985 model so I remember these well. All my things went to my cousin too and I hardly have any of my toys, I so so wish I did. Love the trip down memory lane.
I get Bloom and Wild for my mother, and they can last up to 3 weeks, some flowers die off quicker and you end up with a different-looking display over the weeks! Enjoy.

They will last even longer if you cut them at the angle and put them in the water immediately or if you can cut them underwater... even better. As soon as you cut a stem they start to suck up the water and when left in the air after cut a reaction starts to close the pores.

I live in the Middle East and I’ve experimented with dates- butterfly and take out the pit. Add a nut butter or Nutella in the center with an almond of top and throw in the air fryer or oven!!! Yum!!!
I used to have so many polly pockets! I had the mansion too, the flags were white and pink stripes i think or just pink? Something like that 😂 I also had a giant Purple Heart that when you opened it, it was like a princess castle 😂 I then had a summer type thing with a water slide. Ohhhh I was obsessed! 😂

Cherry make sure as soon as you cut the flower you stick it in water you do not want it to sit on your counter without being on water after you cut it, it's just a tip I worked in a floral shop for 24 years I was a designer and I know how fickle flowers can be and I hope you enjoy them cuz they bring a lot of joy to everybody❤
Another fantastic video. I really enjoy watching you, you make it feel like you're talking directly to the audience and not just the camera. A tip on the flowers from an old florist, you've got it right, cut off a couple of inches at a 45° angle but, if you want them to last even longer cut them under water and let them soak in warm water for at least 15-20 minutes to let them have a good drink and then arrange them in a vase with a splash of vodka. A little vodka in the florist doesn't hurt either.. You do a wonderful job arranging flowers and I could watch a video of you doing just that all day.

Jeremy the frog has stories to tell lmao 😂 I also had a good amount of Polly Pocket toys as a child! I played a lot of hours with those toys, and my favorites ones were those with magnetic paths so you could move the doll all around lol. So sad that my mom threw them away in one of her cleaning fevers 😢

And all the bits - even the gymnast that broke (she's in a clear earring box that childhood raven painted up to look like an ICU bed/pod 😅) I don't know why, but I couldn't bare to part with my Polly Pockets either. I still have them in a box in my loft. I even had them in a wheely box with outlines drawn for where each set sits for packing away lmao 🤣 I was a very organised child.....when did that stop? 🤣🤣🤣
The flowers are beautiful! I did a little grocery shopping yesterday myself and bought green grapes and strawberries. Great minds... You're a dangerous lady when you shop that is for sure! Yes, I do have an eating show...well me and my husband do. At home, on tuesdays we watch "Tasting History" with Max Miller, and when we, occasionally eat hamburgers in the car, we always watch "Minty comedic arts" and learn 10 thing we did'nt know about random movies 😋
They do have orange tootsie rolls btw. They used to primarily be given out on Halloween for trick or treat (back in my day 😂). Now you can buy the fruity flavored ones in a package though year round.
