Holly, this was such a great video! I have older kids, an eighth grader and a college age daughter and I feel pressure to try to make our schedule more rigid so that we follow. I understand that some days it just doesn’t go that way and if I’m more flexible then I feel less pressure and my mood I have found, sets the tone for my whole family. I had the exact same same thoughts the other day about shifting our focus to things above right now and the thought that some things in our world have become idols and distractions form God. Wishing you and your family much safety and health.

Thanks for that reminder! I am a list maker and find myself realizing,why am I hurrying?? It is a very odd situation we all need to adjust to but I do agree with what you said about the things we worship as a culture. God knows what's going on and we need to rest in that. No matter the outcome. This is where we need to put our faith into practice and it's hard sometimes! We can have a peace that passes all understanding. Praying for you and looking forward to more videos. 💜

As moms we put so much pressure on ourselves. I feel this exact same way about having to plan activities and things. A great reminder to give yourself some grace. During this time I'm starting to make videos on my channel. I hope we can support eachother!

I don't have children yet (hopefully someday soonish:)), but I have such a heart for homemaking and now working from home has given me more of an opportunity to really hone in on that.I so agree with you that this is a time for us to deepen our relationship with God and look to Him instead of the worldly things we so often get caught up in. Awwww you did a great job everyone needs encouragement thanks for reminding me I don’t need a schedule to follow. I have to watch my nieces and nephew tomorrow so I needed to hear this. I have no idea what to do for toddlers you help me out a lot thank you!!
