(Mellow gratin with Chinese cabbage and radish)
Ingredients: Enough for about 2 small bowls of rice
1/8 ball of Chinese cabbage
1/4 daikon radish
100 g chicken thigh meat
A pinch of salt and pepper
2 teaspoons flour
300 ml milk
1 tablespoon onion paste (consommé granules can be substituted)
100 g penne
Cheese and bread crumbs (as desired)
1) Brown chicken in a frying pan, then add radish and Chinese cabbage in that order.
2) Sprinkle flour and add milk a little at a time (be careful not to add all at once as it will cause lumps).
3) Add onion koji (consommé can be substituted) and season with salt and pepper.
4) Add penne and serve. Sprinkle with cheese and bread crumbs, and heat in the gratin mode of the oven. If not, preheat to 230 degrees and it will be done in about 25 minutes.
