Homecoming Party Thrown for Ghana's First Unicycling World Championship Medals Winner 

Trey "Manboora" Haun won silver and bronze medals at UNICON20, the 20th Unicycling World Championship. On his return home to Nalerigu, Ghana, the NaYiri, king of Mamprugu, had his Deema Naaba organize a massive durbar, or festival, to celebrate the wins. Chiefs, politicians, musicians, children, and people from all walks of life attended the event at the NaYiri Palace on August 20, 2022. Trey was presented with a plaque citing the community's appreciation as well as two beautiful, handmade smocks. His father, William "Sulimiisina'akyinaaba" Haun was also recognized with two smocks and his mother Dr. Heidi Haun was presented with colorful woven fabric.
The 16-year-old Manboora has lived half of his life in Nalerigu, Ghana where his family serve as missionaries at the Baptist Medical Centre. Since the competition allows participants to represent their country of birth or country of residence, Trey chose to represent Ghana. His surprising wins at UNICON were a first for Ghana.
