He’s just as evil but in an opposite way Sidious commands with a fist of fear just like Homelander but he’s far more composed and intelligent , but still homelander’s uncontrollable nature makes him just as dangerous tbh
Not at all. Homelander was manipulated by Vought, during his entire life, as he admits, he was raised to be very needy of love, and most likely would be normal if he grew up in a normal family. While Sidious is the one who manipulates, he had a decent chilhood, he was the son of a senator, the only problem was that his father didn't treat him that well. Although the others were fine to him, he ended his whole family's life. He doesn't need to be loved, he doesn't even know what love is. Pure evil. (This is legends btw, secondary/alternative star wars contuintiy.) Look, how Homelander tries to be a good father, while in new main SW universe, Palpatine tried to end his clone-son's life, and his granddaughter too, and then he tried to manipulated his granddaughter just because he needed a new body.
I just LOVE homelander so much. He isnt a good person. But thats exactly what makes him so good. You dont know what he is gonna do next. He keeps you on guard all time. Which makes him so so fucking intresting.
@@Alexander-Lionheart_1881 im weird for liking a masterpiece fictional villain? I dont love him in the sense of what kind of person he is. He is just such an good written villain which like 99.99% fictional villains ARE MISSING.
@@inazuma149 I think what I like so much about Homelander is how little he behaves like a mastermind. He's powerful and cunning but not good at forward planning, so he has a tendency to act on impulse, making every. Single. Second. He is on screen nail-biting. You're always wondering what he's going to do.
I definitely love to hate him. He's done so many fucked up, horrifying, shocking things. I kept hoping he'd be killed off then realized that this series wouldn't even exist without him. Once he's gone, that's it for The Boys. Conflict over.
The test was to see which person complied with Homelander's order and who hesitated. A-Train the fastest one there didn't hit anyone with a bat in the end. Sister Sage saw the weak link.... and he is the one who is helping The Boys unwillingly this season.
They TOTALLY watered down the sheer brutality for Todd's death as if the creator knew we wanted him to be brutally murdered. Instead he gets killed off camera, while the two guys prior are shown getting there jaws and head broken open. Homelander is not gonna get killed and this series will end like Game Of Thrones
Yea I honestly do wish we got a bit more out of this scene with Todd While stupid and repulsive , as soon as he saw Homelander kill that protestor he shoudl’ve done the human thing and cower away from being one of his followers
@@keizeoo No, the worst thing Todd did was go against the FATHER'S decision of bringing her to a Homelander rally as if he knows what's best, then APPLAUDED a guy getting his head lasered off.
Yeah...the adults don't believe that. Hollywood has no idea what grownups actually believe. They get their boomer-tier statist politics from late-night comedy shows. "Might makes right" is what you were attempting to say, and if there's one party that actually embodies this, it's actually the modern Left. Look at the lawfare against Trump and other dissidents. Only the Left (not moderates, not independents, and certainly not Republicans) believe any of that is legitimate, but the Left insists because they have the power to weaponize the judicial to go after opponents, the outcome is pure by definition.
The thing I understood about this is homelander gave the seven like a train and the deep hope that they could be able to deny him by saying nobody here stands up to me and then immediately after that demand them to murder people against their will
Black Noir : Proceeds to be the one who Beats them up to death with the Least hesitation 💀 Black Noir Afterwards : Yo wtf, that was soo messed up of You guys ... 💀
BS, Homelander has already achieved dominance and became admired by all, which was his character motivation. Now they reset it that it means nothing to him and he’s not happy with it, but he’s pursuing it again with Sage and these acts.
I'm gonna be nitpicky here, I know they would probably do more damage in general, but being super doesn't magically transfer to wooden bats. They'd eventually snap surely lol
They didn't beat them hard enough to break the bats; they were framing humans, so they did enough damage to kill, but not enough for it to look like a supe did it.
You guys know this was Meta right? He was actually talking to the conservative party😂 Had every intention of pissing them off this season. 😂😂😂😂😂 That's Nasty work 🫠
He's neither of those things. Just imagine the Joker in Superman's body. He's scary, because he's powerful and crazy. If all the Supes born with or taking Gen-V teamed up, they could take him down for good. Maeve with a pencil/pen injured him, Soldier Boy could take him on. Butcher on Compound V could do so too. Hell, if Stormfront could be tag-teamed like that in Season 2, Homelander could be killed by the right line up.
@@micrhymer4062 lol, yeah. It was pretty clear that it was a different guy since black Noir pretty clearly died last season, but the way they confirmed it with his first spoken line got me cackling like a maniac.
@micrhymer4062 same actor, he's just allowed to speak now, I like to think the og noir in the tv show has regeneration powers and is possibly healing slowly, he could come out of nowhere in the series finale it's either soldier boy or og noir who comes back
@@bailzzzzzz Love it. That part really caught me off guard. You'd expect The Deep or maybe A Train to say something like that but the fact that Noir randomly says it and is actually not cool with it is hilarious
@@АртёмШумилов-з1сThey explained it in the show. They used bats to not give hints that it was done by supers so they can frame Starlight's supporters.
Loyalty test. He needs to see if they will obey him, probably was Sage's idea. A-Train not doing anything is probably a cause for her to be suspicious of him.
If this is not proof that no one is safe around Homelander then I do not know what is. These poor guys were his most loyal fans who would have done anything for him and he did not give a crap.
@@matthoon3737Homelander didn’t laser him in that vent on purpose, he was playing with his prey like a cat and in season 1 when he found out that someone was going after him he got excited, he needs this fight to go on
Why do I feel bad for the last guy who got killed? Yeah he was a total idiot who worshipped Homelander but the way he looked so defeated when A Train blocked him had me feeling sympathy for that mf for no reason lol. He was like a man child.
@@graffiti.777Yeah I don’t think anyone saw this coming. It’s definitely understandable to feel bad because they were fish in a barrel ready to be killed with no remorse. A-Train and Noir make me feel bad for them too because they didn’t ask to do this either
@@Idkwhattoput-p2s fucking every clips channel that does these same, overdone, over-edited, same-fucking-music shorts. Every one of them over sharpens their clips. We don't need the music and we don't need to see Every pore on a person's face
The craziest part is this is honestly the first giveaway to Sister Sage that A-Train was a traitor. She's too smart to not notice his restraint and how it could lead to betrayal
She's kind of been a dumbass in this show. And I don't mean when she labodimizes herself. It's such a shame, as she's supposed to be super intelligent, but she's only basic intelligent. Likely because the shows writer's are themselves only basic intelligent, but they're also not good at faking it.
It's funny how practically no autopsies were made when they found the bodies. It would have been extremely obvious that they weren't even killed during the brawl...
I think it might be hard to determine if they were beaten with bats or punches when super-strength is involved. And iirc, they blamed Starlight of doing it
In the show they said it was blunt force trama which matches how they assumed someone at the protest died, guess we are assuming a corner can't tell super strength blunt force from regular blunt force. I think the main problem is homelander fans would want a murder trial but there is no suspect and witnesses
