@@intermediateshredder366 hi, no sadly we lost contact. However we worked together for a while and had some great times. Very down to earth guy and always smiling. I definitely want to get in touch just to see how he is doing now and also if I can help his situation as we worked together 11 years ago, so time has flown by!
@@thewaymaker6001 Woah 11 years that's quite a long time. It's funny how those who are disregarded by Society are often the most kind, humble and gentle natured just like Robbie.
Everyone here complaining because the title says homeless contestant, but would you have played the video if it only said his name? Most of us clicked it because it said he's homeless.
"Absolutely zero confidence" He auditioned for one of the biggest talent shows and sang in front of thousands of people. I think he's quite confident in his skills.
I had no confidence in my abilities, but my director gave me a full ride scholarship. Sometimes someone else believing in you is what it takes to push you forward.
just because he sang on x factor does not mean he has or does not have confidence and is dumb to believe any different. I dont like being touched, I do not have confidence, I am not athletic, BUT... I joined martial arts and let people crawl all over me in B. Jiu Jitsu. I fight for what I want and dont have, I strive to be better, I get off my butt and attempt/try to change my shortcomings and areas of my life I need to work on. He may have no confidence but he may fight it like I do, everyday.
ninghor- please tell BERNARDO- his home...is his country/origin...his STATUS?? IS ROUGH SLEEPER..OR ROOFLESS- funny how all? avoid the "N" word?..but homeless is and exceptable ~manacle? of Identity?like a dog's collar w/o a tag?
Well... They probably have a good job to sustain themselves and their families. I'm sure they want to be rich but there are other wishes on top of that.
I love how the crowd went "aww" when he said he was homeless... When in reality they would not even mind or give some spare change to other homeless people 😑
Sadly, he's nowhere to be found now and X Factor fucked him up. His life got worse when some criminal records were revealed. He cant get a job anymore :'(
Not that "confidence" that u'r talking about. The "confidence" here means he's not giving it his all, u might see him has 0 stage fright but that doesn't mean he's not nervous at all. U can clearly here he could sing so much better than on this video but the lack of *confidence in his ability* is what theyre talking about
His confidence is stronger than they realize. He faced leaving his family to find his Independence without a home. He let go of comfort for the sake of understanding himself, the world and finding his place in the world without giving in. Conragious is more fitting.
Aryan Tripathi you’re right I just saw the video. I’m like what is he doing? I guess he didn’t want this at all. I mean he had a chance to turn his life around.
Unfortunately, Robbie Hance stated in an article that he walked out on boot camp. Apparently, he forgot the words to one of his songs and was embarrassed. He said he would rather be homeless than deal with X-Factor ever again because all they focused on was his homelessness. Sorry to burst your optimism bubbles :(
Agree..I think hes got huge charizma and pure energy! He can be a new wave of sweetness instead of fake smiles we see in celebrities now days..huge like for him!💖
That's not the confidence they meant. They meant something more along the lines of him not being confident in his abilities and such. Not stage fright. You can be completely ok with performing in front of a large group, but still lack confidence in other areas
This is the perfect example of what I always tell everyone, the talent has no boundaries, no limits, and can come from anyone or anywhere, and this guy has it! I hope to God that he gets himself a career out of this, because he deserves all the things that he never had a chance to enjoy as a child, frankly I’m amazed he came out so well growing up with what I’m sure was a lot of abuse, and not very much love. Well my friend, even though I don’t know you and you don’t know me, I can guarantee you that I have all the faith in the world that you’re going to go far, and wish you nothing but the very best, sending you a lot of love from Toronto!
i was homeless for 8 years living under bridges in dumpster areas behind stores and in the desert of nevada it’s truly a hard life and incredibly hard to find a way out,, i cried for him because i know how difficult that life is and to share that in front of millions of people has got a lot of confidence, i’m praying for him that he gets off the streets soon💗
Lovely to hear ur story to exaclty what he was feeling cos only you been there truely understand, I hope & pray with you too he has a home, U can such a beautiful person inside he is, Id open my door to help him anyday Ive great compassion for homeless & taking time to talk to them is heartfelt & upsetting He will get far with surviving so long with still holding a beautiful heart within & beautiful talent of his voice Love to you all x
I sincerely hope he is not homeless anymore. He deserves a chance in this life. He's proof that a person can suffer through hardships and remain humbled without being resentful. Wherever Robbie is now I pray that God has him on the path he's meant to be on.
Anne B. I hope what you hope too, the people in the world with a Home think it’s normal and probably won’t understand why people don’t have homes until they get to a grown adult where u understand most things in life, not all, but most. And, you know what? I don’t blame them, bc they have never lived outside a house or on the streets, it’s like if you r going to Italy and you’ve never researched or been there, ur never gonna know everything about it r u? And remember if your going to move House or something like that then try not to be upset, ik it is hard especially if you’ve got special memories there, but remember this: “a House is just bricks windows and doors, but the people who live in it make it a home.”
Ticky Tocky YOU HAVE no clue as to what he and others have been through or what his childhood was like. Don't judge others until you've walked a mile in their shoes.
Ticky Tocky Satan infests your heart. Stop being a pessimist, and be an optimist. Employment is different for people that are homeless, as they don't have transportation, and the people may be strict, so these people, and what they are just saying here may be right. Just shut up and enjoy the video, please. God wants us to love everybody, even if you disapprove of them.
i'm at a loss for words how you can be that naive and angry. for the record the government wastes more of your precious taxes on lining there pockets and those of there friends than helping the ill, infirm and destitute, especially the homeless which are mostly aided by non profit charities, but please keep reading the tabloids for help forming your opinions you mindless drone.
Telling this poor man he has no confidence is rude and ignorant. The life he has lived is not easy and only a VERY STRONG AND CONFIDENT MAN CAN SURVIVE LIVING ON THE STREETS.
Anthon Deutsch may i know please where are this homeless people do take a bath..poo..psss..coz here in my country they do it everywhere..bathing is also a problem..our homeless here maybe dont bath also.perhaps if its raining .i dont know..im just curious..thanks for the reply
How could that judge say he had zero confidence. He did NOT!!!! He is so much at ease on stage. To come that far as a homeless person is a sign of confidence.
They didn't mean confidence regarding stage fright. They meant that he didn't seem confident in how amazing he can play. The judges felt like Robbie didn't realize how good he is at actually singing. He's out on the streets playing for free just to get some change. In reality, he has the talent to be working somewhere, making kick-ass music
I think when he and she said he lacked confidence it wasn't about his personality but about his performance you could see he was a little nervous and just looked down the whole time bless him and I hope he does well in life!
I think he was looking down because a lot of people have probably said really nice, hopeful things to him only to later not care anymore. You can tell he takes what people say with a grain of salt and to prevent getting his hopes up too much.
just came across this playlist so nice to see people appreciate my homie Robbie you'll be glad to hear he's doing well hes stabilised his life now working as a garden landscaper making a decent living and got married just over a year ago and now has a wonderful wife and puppy keeping him blessed
Seriously. I saw nothing wrong with him. Do they expect him to come on stage and act like an arrogant douchebag? Wtf. And then if he did, they’d get offended and kick him out like what happened to another person. There’s no pleasing these assholes.
Yeah I don’t see any lack of confidence, this really puzzled me and I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks that. I scroll the comments to see if anyone else thought the same. He has a lot of confidence....
Yeah, I think he was very nice and cool. He calmly spoke about his situation and modestly described his passion for music. His singing and guitar playing were good too.
That was SO rude! Annoying. He does not have Zero confidence. There's a difference between no confidence and simply being a humble human being, like this contestant was.
Tyler Sperry you’re 1000% correct, keep an open mind always, people judge harshly what they fear and don’t know. The world needs empathy & sympathy for others. Thanks for your great comment!
as long as success dont ruin him...yes I agree... theres something raw and genuine about people like him that brings us all back down to earth and reminds us of our humanity...dont get lost in the cultural jungle man...stay true to yourself
What a lovely humble but talented man. I hope this changes his life. Nobody deserves to be homeless. It breaks my heart to know there are so many all around the world who have no home, no family and no comfort or security.
These honest, raw, genuine voices are what makes these shows worth watching... What an amazing voice and what an incredible man! Unfair life, isn't it..?
MReardon777 Well, opinions I suppose. I disagree. Life IS unfair. On many levels. If you live on the street, you don't get the chance of eating, or bathing, or dressing well, that often. So if you show up to a job interview, you won't have the same chance as someone else. But that's just the way I see it.
Mada STM that is true to an extent, but obviously he was well groomed... And like he said, he lived in friends houses every few days so he definitely could have.
Perhaps he already has everything that those watching with homes do not have .. love, humility and a certain peace which reflected on his face as he gave his all in that emotive song. Not just a homeless man but a beautiful spirit.
I noticed that too. I am wondering if it was just an automatism: because he always had to do things himself he just took the chair off stage without thinking about it.
He walked off the stage mid performance. He's a lazy bum. He has this wonderful talent, but refuses to try. I'm still so mad at him and it has been years
www.independent.ie/entertainment/tv-radio/x-factor-producers-made-aware-of-homeless-contestant-Robbie-hence-criminal-offences-28811149.html You should check this out before you speak
deidre Ruelan I went and watched it. Those other two knuckleheads weren’t original. He shouldn’t have left. But, we all fuck up now and again. He’s still hot. Definitely not thinking twice and think he made the right decision to leave.
It takes so much guts to get up in front of a crowd and say (I'm homeless ) knowing how people automatically judge people who are in a different situation .I pray that he is now doing well
I was thinking more in terms of runway/top fashion models. If they do use smaller dudes for that kind of stuff (campaigns, etc), they're often already successful celebrities and not a new face.
Exactly not just good looking can be a model ,the other can be train such a built body also attitude .I my view the most important is first impression and charisma that he has both.
I was gutted this guy didn't go far in the competition he was exactly what the show needed a change from. The stereotypical contestant that won year after year
That dude should be the front of some kind of band he has an amazing voice and can jam that guitar and probably has the passion to do it for the rest of his life and spread his love
I still can’t get over how, he ended up just disappearing after the fact he couldn’t recall one song. Also how they say he had no confidence when he got off the street in front of a very large crowd and performed a song Beautifully. Wherever Robbie is today, I hope he’s well. Because after going into everything happened I’m at a loss of words.
Joe Blow I clicked for homeless contestant and I wouldn’t have klicken for Robbie Hance. So I’m glad the title said homeless contestant, because I would have missed his beautiful voice!
Deger - it was a joke. Okay - the exchange between me and my boss really did happen that way - but the context was my boss joking and I knowingly bated him. The man had/has an awesome wit. Humor makes work a lot more fun. Work that's dull is, well - its dull. Throw fun in whenever its feasible and wont get you fired. LOL - and no, I didn't get fired. :-)
That's definately not just a homeless guy...! That's a Star that decided to be bright enough to be discovered ! So many beautiful people out there that don't have the courage to do the next step and win an opportunity! Congratulations! You're a great inspiration to all of us!!!
