A lot of people who don't deserve t one on the streets are on the streets. A lot of people who do deserve it are not. Someday we'll right this situation.
@Dee Jones good God dont u think I know that!!!! Of course I'd love to do more for them...I'm in the homeless community on a daily basis I do what I can. .its just a comment and I'm in another state ..chill Dee Jones!
Elizabeth Cerri it happened to me but I worked xtra (it took 2 1/2 months) and I got a small apartment Also even to this day I am sure I could never afford to live in some areas & never will
@@nancydavieau4951 Just seeing this reply. I was a single mom; never homeless but pretty darned close. I worked extra too - 3 jobs. But for the grace of God - we would be homeless too. God bless you.
Waiting my fate I have misdiagnosed illness . Going to loose everything my wife and kids . Just to be left behind in my house untill I'm thrown out in a month . No JOB NO FOOD NO HOME NO FAMILY . AND TO KNOW IM GOING TO DIE OF A MISDIAGNOSED ILNRSS SUCKS Because it makes me look like I'm faking it and wen I die I will be alone.. I am dehydrated ,dizzy ,have severe insomnia ,sores that don't heal , a crush injury on my right arm . No health insurance either . It's going to be in the 80s today and shit I can't think . Oh well let's just say I'm a dead man . I'll probably be gone before the day's end . This disability even made my muscles detioriorate and severe memory loss . No help . Man if this ain't hell .even writing this is seems messed up . Aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhbbbbbhbb.
@Marie Mary it takes 💰 to do that. Yes they have to move from that area, but state gonna take lots of money. I moved like 3 hrs away from where I was living and man it costed me a ton. It's not going to be easy which ever way they go. God bless 😇 👼🙏 them
They’re a great couple. She is strong, her father and uncle dies weeks after each other , what a shame. You can tell she is holding a lot back from crying. They are hard workers too even at that age, doing landscaping on BIKES. Wish I can fund them somehow.......at least too help repair there truck..................
@@mackblack8341 No, they are too young. If you take a scalping, you can apply at 62. Russia allows retirement at 55. Some political groups would like to abolish social security.
They r good looking senior citizens...sweet couple I'm happy they have each other...man I wish I could wave a magic wand and give them a home...they good peeps you can tell...I hope they r in a better place to them
They aren't senior citizens yet though. They aren't at the age of retirement yet either so I don't understand why they describe themselves as such. They've got a good 10 years of working still.
It's a shame this happens in America, we need to have jobs, in this country and housing costs have to be controlled. We all had a better standard of living with UNIONS. ANY COMPANY LEAVING THE US CANNOT MARKET AND SELL IN THE US. PASS IT CONGRESSMAN
It is hard to have the skills needed to make it today, at least a lot harder that it used to be. These guys are classic “new homeless”, which is kind of an oxymoron, but you hopefully get my point.
gabriel32724 the whole world needs to have the same standard of living, otherwise those countries/people/companies that can operate and work for less will always undercut the more prosperous nations and people and companies.
gabriel32724 we got jobs it's just inhumane that our President & Government allows this shit to happen....Look in reality EVERYBODY cant have a job that pays over $100k annually & the fact that there are MANY BUSINESSES that dont pay that should be simple logic to create enough homes for all those people who work at businesses that dont pay over $100k a year.....SMFH....its not complicated but our entire Government & the Whitehouse just pretend it's not there.....they give the simple bullshit excuse that if you went to college for 4 years or if you worked hard for X amount of years then you should be a manager etc & not be homeless BUT AGAIN that excuse is not even logical or half way correct because even those who worked & bust there asses at alot of jobs out in the bay have moved on to manager or boss & still dont make that kind of money.....if a human being is working his ass off & let's say trying to support his family then our Government should allow him to on his lower salary & the only difference should be is that his low income home that he can afford that the government sets aside for him will be much smaller & not as nice as what the rich folks have BUT he still should have a home for he & his family & able to buy groceries....I'm not saying they should have extra party money & be able to eat out every week BUT able to afford a roof over there head & purchase necessary things in life.
May the universe open up and Bless them to the fullest! I ask in the name Of God the most high please give them a place to stay , a new truck, food shelter peace most of all LOVE
I’m really not trying to be a butt hole here but I pray you’ll keep your word and give them and others what they’ve been blessed to receive from donations. It’s been countless times our homeless sisters/brothers are scammed by “ good people” trying to help! Hearing these stories break my heart!! I pray you’re an honest person doing the right thing!
I understand, which is why every fundraising link found on this channel is setup by the homeless person themselves. I have nothing to do with it. Every penny goes to them.
@@InvisiblePeople I literally just got done watching a video about a black homeless husband and wife in Oakland, SF, California and how they were noticed by a white well off "humble" developer.....he had them actually come live at his property in a very "well to do, upscale" neighborhood and he gave them the small private in- law suite. That was like a year ago I think, the most sweetest beautiful humanbeings they were.....not sure how its going with them, but geezzz it would be AMAZING if you got in contact with them or that local news editor that did their story....I do know this has been a complete EYE OPENER to the construction developer that took them in, he never realized how complex the homeless problem is and how EXTREMELY upside down the system is to help those in need. Its been a big learning curve for him seeing how he specializes in fixing broken properties and renews their potential and value. Wow, it would be somethin special if somehow with his expertise and the first hand knowledge of individuals like these couples, if they worked together in creating some kind of "second chance community". I barely get by myself and have to live with my daughter now in Florida. Im originally from San Diego" Ca., I watch all of your videos, you are an Amazing humanbeing to continuously shed light on so so many of our brothers and sisters struggling thru life, in a nation full of so much wealth it's just heartbreaking to see this happening. I literally have dreams of finding a solution. God bless and ✌ to you❤
My prayers go out to all homeless. If I had the money I would help all that I could it's ashame that rebt has gone up so High no one can afford to pay it. GOD ALMIGHTY Bless you all.
Sophia Burger. leave god out of it! for god don't help them either! and neither do you! these people have to help themselves! I've been there myself! i GOT OUT OF IT ! MYSELF! i went where i can find a job and didn't find one there then went someplace else and found one and worked 10 - 12 hours a day and lived in my car and got my life back together ! it can be done but these people keep themseves in same place so don't change anything then nothing gets changed.
There is 250 billion spent on illegals each year. If Black people and poor people could stop listening to the press telling them how to feel about Trump and see what Trumps really trying to do then they would get behind him like so many other blacks have done. This is money that could be used to build rent controlled housing but instead goes to illegals. In CA you pay 24.3 billon to illegals. Texas pays 12.1 billion and New York comes in 3rd.Thats $1,197 paid out in taxes each year by every Texas house hold to support illegals.
These folks are riding their bikes from Oakland to Hayward to mow lawns! That is a long way on bikes! I was born and raised in the Bay Area and my heart goes out to them! These are good people! They aren't out begging, they're working! I hope god helps these good people and helps them get back on their feet!
I don't see to homeless people I see a beautiful and handsome couple one we can learn from. Because it's easy to love somebody when you have everything but when you lock the mere necessities. that is love
People need to understand it can happen to anyone im living proof no matter where u come from and what u have happy 4th from california all i can say is pray stay strong keep pushing forward postive thoughts😊
Yes it can happen to anyone in this world never think you are to high up there because you can come down after that high horse bless these people God can make a way out of no way.
It definitely can happen to anyone my wife and I both work full time jobs and were homeless for almost 2 years. Definitely the hardest thing I've been through. I'm thankful that I am no longer homeless.
Question:"What would you like normal people to know about homelessness?" Answer: Just because you don't have a house doesn't mean you're no longer "normal "
Great couple I have ever seen stay strong together I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ may you soon have your own place again and may you always remember to consider the homeless .
This couple are blessed to have each other. Why is our government ignoring this homelessness crisis? I’m one check away from disaster and best believe most people are. I got injured at work and at the same time my landlord nearly doubled my rent and since I was jobless I could not find anyone who would rent to me even though I have perfect credit and, at the time, a decent savings. I lived in a vehicle for 9 months and I was well aware that I was lucky. I’m now living in a tiny studio with my son and feel extremely blessed but also fearful that I could end up on the street if I’m injured or fall ill. Why is our government blatantly ignoring this crisis? Majority of homeless are good people trying! I wish I could help. I wish.....everyone had their basic needs met.
Just Begood government IS responsible! Government protects the criminal corporations, criminal healthcare, criminal insurance, banks and the 1%! Government needs to step up and protect the poor, the weak and disabled. Get the hell out of here with your crappy attitude. This country has been going to hell in a hand basket.
they seem like a very A calm and loving couple. Both also seem physically quite fit. I am glad to hear that their business is growing and might help them find secure housing.
@SavageSurvivalSavageSurvival you name is Savage you are one if you do not understand that in this country you are on your own people do not care nor the government sad people sad country ... scary
If our government can find funding to house illegal immigrants (placing them on military bases, etc.), then they can find funding to house US citizens. Some of these homeless US citizens are veterans. This is a shame on our government.
@SavageSurvival That was possible back in the day. Today is different. see Refari1119bee comment. That is if you are open to learn. Ignorance is bliss.
You gotta admire people like this who aren't looking for handouts...they want a hand-up. I pray they would find permanent housing and get everything they need to start their business!! 😄❤
What a nice couple...they deserve a home. Sick of human being treated like trash...governments do somting about it...how would u like to live like this.
The government people is to lazy collecting there 180,000 salary or more , none of them experience what we go through , so they could care less , if everybody in government was paid min wage to where they couldn't survive off that, they would pass laws for affordable housing, the HUD budget would be 500 billion a year instead of the military budget being 700 billion a year smh, until then, the people have to demand it , I don't care witch party , they both suck
I hope they can get back on there feet .... At least the bike riding and landscaping seem to be keeping them fit and they look like they have a very good relationship .
The main problem with the rents being so high, young investors buying up houses and apartment complexes with the idea of making a few improvements, then upping the rent or sale price to eliminate the locals. That forces those on low fixed incomes to lose their places. It makes me sick to hear the well off talking about homeless mental illness as the cause of poverty. And that leads to mental institutions instead of affordable housing for all. I guess well off people need to believe that there is some big difference between homeless and them. So mental or drug issues are the big lie they grab at to make sense of poverty and homelessness. Making them feel safe that it could never happen to them. But it could unless you are among the greedy wealthy. If you dont think you would feel hopeless and tearfully sad having to deal with that level of poverty day in and day out, try it. Anyone would be depressed if they had poverty and homelessness as a reward for working hard all their lives to end up with some well off "investor" shoving them out of their only home. We need affordable housing and a guarantee to respect for a right to live affordably. Income or retirement, housing must be something like medical and food as a human right. If the prices on all cad cause some to go without a safe and decent life, we need to fix this. And changing the way of thinking about others is a start. All people have a human right to a safe healthy life with shelter, food, medical care, peace and persuit of happiness. Working multiple jobs to provide a roof over your head, then a church pantry for food, clothing, etc is not dignity at retirement. I'm sick of seeing homelessness for retirees without families to take them in. The.young often struggle with this poverty too. And have even worst poverty waiting when they retire. It isn't the coming generation that will have it worst than their parents. It's happened in the last generation already. Forced into poverty after banks stole the home investments of many back in 2008. And poverty waiting for so many with a disability or accident. Low incomes have been a chronic problem as long as we have had greedy employers, greedy landlords, greedy pharma and medical insurance. It's a rigged system that destroys the low income folks, then moves the middle class into poverty to continue feeding that greed. Maximizing profits is a corporate necessity. Instead of offering affordable services and products at fair and sustainable costs. If you run out of customers due to causing their poverty, must the answer be to gentrify the community with moving in wealthier people? Once upon a time, people could afford to live where their families grew up and lived for many generations. Neighborhoods had affordable housing and more expensive homes nearby. Zoning and taxes and greedy investors have destroyed this concept for the most part.
@John Smith I don't agree with you. I am one of those on the east coast who lost my home because of illegal bank fraud and greedy house-flipping investors, and I saw many of my neighbors lose their homes to loan flips, and home values artificially cranked up for investors. And my parents and grandparents were immigrants, not "illegals." That is a hate term taught to us to keep us from seeing the truth. We are the workers. We have more in common than different. Even small businesses must know their workers make the success or failure of a business. Respect, fair labor and pay make more successful products and profits. I had a small business. So did my parents and grandparents. And they came from working people. World wide working people are waking up to this hateful propaganda of hate and division.. The 1% must not be permitted to siphon all the wealth, while working people are lowered to poverty. Poverty is deadly. This isn't a political opinion. It is a fact. Simple economics. Greed destroys all systems: capitalism, democracy, socialism, communism. All systems fail if the greed of a few are permitted to rule without justice. Fair pay for work, social security and medical care equally for all. We earned it. To work a lifetime and have your home and retirement stolen is an abomination and a crime. Fact.
@John Smith Yes we can. We must start holding criminally greedy people responsible. And taking out polititions and judges who are bought and paid to serve by those greedy criminals. Not just term limits, but jail time for those who deserve it. We should never tolerate criminals, regardless of stature, power, nor wealth. Seeing someone hungry, we should all feel compassion. Homelessness can kill. Lack of healthcare kills everyday. When we teach our children compassion and reality - no one is superior. We are all humans, with limited lives, and we should all have the right to expect justice, fair practices and enforcement of laws. Too many of the poor are imprisoned for lack of enough money. They may be innocent. But without bail, without adequate defense. A wealthy person would never experience this. And most of those incarcerated are the poor, mostly people of color. Generations ago it was ethnic hate.. Irish, Italian, Polish, anyone who was learning English language, customs, laws, looking for work, a trade to support family. Same as now. Hard working people..
@John Smith We can all find what we agree on, and work together to make the U.S. a place where all people have a path to have a good life. Let us improve this dream of democracy for all of us.

@Whiteman I was homeless and still managed to give cash to others who had it worst than me. Money comes and goes, but health and safety is priceless. Prayers are an ineffective waste of time or you all aren't praying correctly.
Dont let their struggle distract you from the fact they are still a beautiful couple together. Some couples have the world and still arent happy at all. #moneycantbuyhappiness
Rents are out of control all over north america. My heart goes out to these people they need a hand up not a handout. We could all end up in this situation loose your job landlord jacks the rent or a loved one dies and off the deepend we go. Theres many reasons for homelessness so don't say it couldn't happen to you. It could. Love and blessings to them hope they get that handup they need.

They set it up themselves. I won’t get between people and their money. That said, I’m not sure they know how to set one of these up. Not everyone does. They also only have a phone to access the internet. That makes it harder to setup a fundraiser correctly. What I do know is these are good people and anything and everything will help them.
No. I am black. And homeless but it was because I wanted to be homeless to so call save money on rent. My biggest fear was not other homeless ppl or anyone with ill-will...but the police. I actually had guns drawn on me. Then my uncle really woke me up to the fact that the police will carry an xtra weapon in their car and then say i tried to use that weapon on then to justify putting a cap in me. So i quit being homeless. But in response to your response this gov has enough capital to house every person in this country... or at the very least long enough for ppl to find work then get off the streets. Now there are some struggling with mental problems drug and alcohol and cant or wont get off the streets... Some make money panhandling and dont want to leave the streets but there is always a way and the gov can do much more to solve this issue.
Those people are senior citizens, do you think they just want to relocate? They've been there all their life!! I guarantee they'll perfer to keep sleeping outside instead of a different state
Whiteman why are you so aggressive and hideous and foul tempered when all the person above is doing is purely wishing these people could find a home. She is wishing them well. I will tell you what low IQ is, it’s showing aggression when you have no other intelligent words to say. You can’t string a coherent sentence together without insulting someone who purely wished these people well. As for individuals offering people a home thats fine if people have the room, most people don’t, their own houses are full with their own families, that’s not the answer, it’s about providing lower rent properties or shelters so that people on low incomes or those who have lost their jobs can at least get themselves on the next step up so they can get themselves pulled together . A lot of people are one paycheck away from struggling. If you have got nothing better to say than sneer at people who make a kind comment, then I would drag yourself back to the gutter you came from!
@Whiteman you remember everything you say and do will come back to be your biggest decision maker when meeting the almighty. I'm not sure who hurt you at one time or who didn't love you enough as a child but there are other chat rooms to discuss that instead of twisting your pain to hate for these people. God bless you.
Whiteman they are still positive. They haven’t given up. God Bless them with a home and vehicle. Please give them the strength to get a home. There are people with money that could help them.
Homeless people who are capable of paying rent but not 2500 per month may not be aware of an option not so favorable by most. Those who live...outdoors in a camping environment, and are on social security can move to Mexico. A room can rent for as little as $30 per month to a two bedroom home for $400 per month. I hope my message may help someone out there. It has been almost one year since I moved to Mexico and I love it out here. Cost of living across the board stretches your income.
Yvonce' oh my gawd. How many times I have heard this before. I used to think that too but after my ten months here I’m convinced that the media is great at using fear tactics to keep the economic secret of an American living in Mexico......dangerous . Better for me in a way. If more Americans moved here the more expensive it will become for me. Crime has no borders.
@@emailgmail4169 If you move to Mexico there are a bunch of Jobs for people that speak English there. It depends on what part of Mexico you're considering. If you are talking about a tourist attraction area,an American is always needed for time share sales for sure.
I am so grateful to have found this channel!! Most of the stories I have seen so far I can fully relate to. I myself am currently battling with being homeless due to the loss of everything to California wildfire twice in less then a year. My hearts go out to all those struggling with life on the streets. You will never truly know how it feels till you walk in the shoes of becoming homeless. Thank you for allowing the opportunity for all these wonderful people to have the voice be heard and story be told. Sometimes all a person really needs is a set of ears to listen and someone who truly cares to take the time to show compassion. We all have different stories of why we are were we are in life, some become successful and loose everything to no fault of there own, others end up down on there luck due to addiction and just need a guided light to help guide there way back to recovery. No matter how our stories are written, the one thing we all have in common is that we are all human and deserve the opportunity to feel respected, compassion, wanted, needed and above all else loved. We all hope to leave our mark & foot print in this life time as well as touch the hearts of those we love and hold close to our hearts. We just fall on hard times sometimes and need a hand up in life to get us back on track to success and to live a full filled, prosperous life. So thank you once again Invisible people for making a difference in others lives as well as being genuinely amazing people with great hearts full of love and compassion. This channel gives me hope that not all is lost in humanity and that there are still people out there that truly care about humanity and doing on to others as you would want done to yourself.

I have teetered on the edge of homelessness a number of times, and by the Grace of God I've always had a roof. I thank God for this and I'm glad to be of support. Much love!
God bless this beautiful couple. I honestly thought the lady was in her 70’s or 80’s. She is still young but being homeless is really aging her so rapidly. Sending prayers.
