It's how he started and then he started moving up because of the money he was making. Samuel L Jackson even issued a challenge for him, and he accomplished that challenge. Either way, since he's moved up a little, I think the homeless thing has become his shtick and he's keeping it up, because it works. Regardless, it's very obvious that he LOVES making people smile. you know some of the saddest people i ever see is those that tries to turn something positive into negative. Worrying about if the video is fake, who cares, this guy has a nice voice, or come on a video upset because the guy has nice clothes and homeless, man u people are sick and disgusting. Majority of his vids were shot awhile bfor they were released. And since we shot the vids it opened doors and people has been helping him out a lot by shooting his video/wardrobe/booking shows Kode Gunter & Daniel Ransom Knight yes he was/still is homeless(without his own place to live) but he is not a bum... When u are sleeping from place to place u are homeless.... And just bcuz he's making moves inspite of his situation doesn't make him a liar. He's sanging 4 food, he's not asking for $$$ to go by drugs/beer... He's simply creating a platform to expose his talent and to bring awareness to the HOMELESS. He has started a nonprofit for the homeless, so dnt get caught of people's idealistic views of wht a homeless person should look like. Its 2014 & if u have just recently fallen DOWN on your luck your not gonna have rotten teeth/wooly hair or push grocery carts. He simply got out of prison with no where to go and just so happen to be put into a situation where he was able to expose his talent.

Not all homeless are dirty looking, there was a young man that my mother helped while back who you would never think would be a homeless by his looks because he would clean him self up in the restroom and had all right clothes. The young man was really homeless, he would sleep in the back of the stores. This was confirm with people that knew him and his mother who kinda thank us for looking out for us.

EXACTLY, his hair is freshly shaved, shoes are cleaned, and the signs on the abandoned house are props. He even had a clean cardboard box to separate him from the slum inside the ran down house
I've been watching A LOT of NO CASH lately. He's a very talented man. I think he's moving up in the world and I'm not sure if he's still homeless, but it's his shtick. Regardless, it's obvious that he LOVES people and he loves making them smile. I respect him all the way.

Staged or not if that's his shtick what does it matter? He's another human being trying to make it. Nobody complains when a politician hustles public opinion their way... He's got a great voice, some people are actually about the MUSIC.
It's sort of disrespectful to actual homeless people, and even more so to actual homeless singers trying to make it. Using a serious situation to try to bring yourself up, if someone has to pretend to have a limitation then that person is doing something wrong.
