The US has mountains of spending to wage wars and conflicts overseas, but fails to use the state budget wisely to support education, healthcare, public infrastructure and facilities and social welfare... It seems like a failed state nowadays!
Poverty has become the symbol of America? Homelessness is becoming the norm as thousands of residents are now living on the streets monthly! our government has failed us and has no solutions to save us.
deport 5-10 million illegals that opens lots of housing. arrest the gangs and do what El Salvador did , it's the safest country since they build a big prison for the gangs . it's what we need, big secure prisons where we can send gangs until they are to old to be evil. take the streets back from the gangs, El Salvador did it so can we.
There is a solution if the government wants to do it. Set a law to stop land prices gouging. Create new communities in cheaper land suburban areas with low-cost houses. Move the homeless to the new communities to help them cut off from drugs to start new life. Encourage businesses to the new areas with lower costs and create more new jobs. This will lower cities' population density and housing costs as well. When more people can afford houses, more lower cost houses will be built, more jobs and better economy
USA never gave any gift to Ukraine rather Ukraine must return back all those money with high interest. In capitalism, caritas does not exist. So people with no money in the USA means homelessness.
open borders and no drug enforcement when i was 20 i met a heroin dealer doing 20 years for selling heroin . lock up the drug dealers here in seattle i know a dealer who was busted twice selling crack he did just days for his second conviction.
ALL DESTROYED BY ECONOMIC FORUM CULT POLITICAL SOLDERS PUSHING 2030 BIG RESET SET UP IN OUR POLITICAL SYSTEMS ALL OVER THE WORLD ALL DESIGNED BUT BLAME THE OLD SYSTEM AND BRING IN A NEW SYSTEM THEY HAVE READY TO GO AND SHEEP WILL GO BAH BAH
Used to visit relatives in LA years ago as kids. We traveled to shop on the bus and to sightsee. The police were always patrolling, and often stopped us to check on what we were doing. We felt safe and looked after even in the big city. No more. Things changed. I will not visit any big city in California nor want my kids to either. Too dangerous. Sad.
The number of homeless people in America has increased steadily in recent years, and there is no sign of a reversal. In a country as wealthy as America, there is no excuse for people to be living on the streets.
@@UnitedStates5050no of course, not homeless population number will grow higher n higher as the time goes by. their vices n laziness keep them homeless n without job n house n yes indeed homeless population will continue to grow even much higher no doubt about it.
@@UnitedStates5050the United States is only wealthy in inflated money, it has a morally, and ethically bankrupt "middle" class, and corporate class with an appointed deliberately ineffectual government.
Hey Pinoy! (right?) Cheers from France. I lived in Manila (Cubao) between 1988 and 1991, working with the disabled in a rehab center. Actually I felt safe there, but not so much in Chicago in 1996, I decided not to stay. The American dream isn't anymore what it used to be.
My mom move us to california from Philadelphia Pennsylvania in 1970 ,it was beautiful, not expensive or high crime, but in 1997 I moved ,you could not walk down the street with a simple gold necklace .I saw it coming, I thank God I took my children to a better place to live ga ,it breaks my heart that LA is never going to be better, I miss LA and the beautiful people that stayed behind, "WE NEED AMERICA GREAT AGAIN
@@sonnigchiang4001 Which country do we invade and occupy the territory of other country? China is claiming the whole world belong to Chinese. take a look at the South China Sea. Btw. I am a descendant of Chinese living outside of China.
@@freshlearner8431 No. One party has been very out spoken on media gaslighting and has mentioned metal health issues / addition but you won't hear it in MSM.
Not really. Most people in America do have a roof over their heads and something to eat on a regular basis. Homelessness and beggars are mainly a US problem.
The USA is rich however; rich for the rich. There’s no reason to allow this situation to extend this far. Our country has the money to solve this crisis. They prefer to do other things with the money instead of spending it where it needs to be spend . Americans are also the blame. We protest other countries problems but ours.
@@Sarah1920sIn their 60's? What a shame for a country like yours, unable to take care of its elders. GDP isn't sufficient? I'm 62 and just retired, but I live on the other side of the Atlantic ocean (Brittany, France). I wish all the best to your sister and her friend.
From Turkey! In the world’s most developed countries, there are countless homeless, hungry, jobless, familyless, and lonely people; yet those who consciously and deliberately cause the same tragedies, traumas, and sufferings in other countries through various wars of interest are, in fact, people very much like us, considered to be exceptionally civilized. Democracy is on the verge of ending in the world. The race, religion, color, gender, and age of the poor, homeless, destitute, abandoned, helpless, and sick cannot be questioned. They are undoubtedly the dignity of humanity.
Actually, local governments are too greedy and don't know how to handle the situation. Politicians are just smart enough for taking care of their own vote bank. Rent cost in LA is still far less than NY.
How is it possible that this way of life on the streets cannot be addressed? No one should have to live in a tent on a pavement in a big city. It's a heartbreaking situation. If a change of government were to make a difference to the lives of the homeless it would be a very great achievement. Nobody should ever have to live like this.
Unfortunately most of the politicians have been bought by AIPAC or the MIC, and they couldn't less about the homeless, they only care about their donors who will bankroll their lifestyle and fund their next election.
@@wonderfulhousebrusselsAmbiorix yeah shame in the USA 🇺🇸 😁. lots of folks in USA 🇺🇸 hates that there's so many wealthy n rich people the monopoly the banks, the multi billioners corporations ect ect. but calm down folks. someone don't like my comment 😆😁😁. because exposed the reality about the homeless. n what keeping them homeless. that's quite simple. they're victims of their own vices n laziness. yeah but go ahead delete my comment again 😁😆😆😁.
This is the country that lectures to every country in the World about how they should live, democracy, justice and human rights. You don't see such tragic, miserable and pitiful scenes in the poorest countries in Africa, Asia or Latin America. You could see such pictures in the 1950s and 60s in the big overpopulated cities in India. But India is a country of 1.5 billion people compared to US which has 250 million people and is the richest country in the World. Even India, has eliminated poverty to a great length. The US is a country which cares only about the rich.
Los Angeles's main problem is not the gangs and crime its the liberal policies of its politicians like Governor Newsome and the political leadership of Los Angeles. The gangs and the crime are a by product of the political leadership.
The Demoncrat keep getting more illegal immigrant, why would you invest in a place like this? This used to be quiet and rent with one bedroom is $400 and keep going up till rent becomes $1k 2016 ... after 35 yrs I left Ca. LA for good.
The sit coms taught viewers how to think. Some ideas were competition, weird sex theories, atheism, trying to outdo one another, snide remarks, hate, racism. I became poor and needed to have room mates to afford rent. But they were horrible human beings. Why?
This is why they need to completely close the border. We need to clean up this mess before we let in more people who will just contribute to this crisis
Right on the west coast large port. We need Chinese boxable housing or more likely modular multiple housing. Negotiate a good price and solve a major social problem
It's heartbreaking to see how much the homeless population is growing in California's largest cities. This video really sheds light on the challenges so many people are facing. It’s clear that more needs to be done to help those in need, and the issue can't be ignored any longer. Hopefully, raising awareness like this will encourage people to come together and find real solutions. Thanks for covering such an important topic and showing the reality behind it.
not so fast, many of the homeless population come from your beloved red states. it is just the tolerance of blue states attracts more homeless people. poverty doesn't discriminate red or blue. this is an American problem. Democrats and Republicans are equally responsible.
@@UnitedStates5050 I understand your feelings. But there's nothing to be ashamed because no one wants to be homeless, just there are something I'm a bit sad for them. They live in the wind rain, it's a torture.
I live in the US. I was told by our city officials that the sidewalks in front of our houses, we MUST provide a minimum clearence of 4' width for pedestrians, & meet ADA requiements. Anyone see problems here? How is any of this legal. This is 100% BS.
When citizens of California, LA, and all other cities in CA voted again and again very liberal people to lead their state and city, they should expect all these to happen sooner than later. Liberal policies on taxation, education, govt intervention on city life, illegal immigrants, O-dollar or No-pay shopping, just to list a few, they should expect all of these problems to come and get worse. It's what the people wants, right? Why do anyone complain now?
I strongly doubt all americans used to make fin of any country in the world as most people in America are warm, friendly and welcoming. Now, if you told me that "people in the US used to make fin of India or any other country... That's a whole 'nother story...
Is this American dream? Our government treats those illegal immigrants better than those American homeless. The bottom line is the those homeless have no families to go to because their parents are poor, too. The biggest question is how they beca me homeless. We're the No. 1 country on earth. It is a shame that our government has no solution. Where did the money go? Where did the jobs go?
Harris and Trump needs to see how poor people live. Since Kamala Harris is from California, she needs to tour LA and Oakland homeless encampments. Trump needs to tour New York homeless shelters.
It’s a total decline in the social structure- gun violence , fentanyl problem, shop theft , homelessness, poverty , medical services , crumbling public transport and infrastructure, gang related crime etc. You dare not even go out of your house at night.
Governments are formed to solve problems like this. You cannot rely on free market capitalism to tackle this issue. Too bad the US govt has forgotten what they're supposed to do.
What a disgrace for the richest country in the world ! Have to tax the billardares Heavely, but no members of the house dares to do it, they just talk about .
I have not yet visited the USA but have lived ad suffered in the UK for over half a century. What I found that works is the practice of tithing. If the people in LA want to take a leaf from my book they can try tithing 10% of their gross income, however small, to a church, say, LDS, and see what does for them in the long term :)
The slave masters slowly with a very concentrated effort, took control, through bogus 3 letter agencies, of every aspect of American citizens lives. Look up though. At this time, there's never been more hope that their evil control is coming to an end.
