Have you ever wondered what go-to-market strategies smaller businesses use to compete with the BIG players? (like the Coca-Colas of the world?)
Because I have…
In fact, that’s just one of the many, MANY reasons ‪@AmyPorterfield‬ and I couldn’t wait to have this conversation with Fawn Weaver, CEO of Uncle Nearest Whiskey. Because when I say Fawn has given these bigger-name distilleries a run for their money… boy, just wait ‘til you listen. But that’s not all.
Click play NOW to learn strategies and tips for embracing your purpose, taking risks, and building generational wealth once and for all.

Ladies!!! The life you are giving in this episode. Hearing the story of the photo and positioning of the people in it, literally brought tears to my eyes. Being a white woman who lives in a black family I have witnessed, even in todays age, the struggle that is still so real for my family members. This was life giving, inspirational and sincerely fired me up. Thank you!!!

Got it Fawn and Tyler said ownership is very important. I will start owning things. Dear God, please let me own my life, own my wealth, own real estate, own my freedom, own my plane, own my own company, own my car, own my money if that is what you have for me, and the grace that you give, and I am highly favored and highly blessed.

HOLY HECKINBOB!!!!! I literally wrote down, 2 days ago "I am a purpose driven person!" I have know i was an entrepreneur since i was in my teens. 'm so grateful for this episode soooo much!!! as I try to build my small business and am thinking about how i can do it differently bc i can clearly see that it can be done differently. Not to mention other business ideas that I have brewing. I love the grounding in GOD that Fawn has bc that's my foundation and it feels like she is a reflection of what this foundation will look like in a near future for me... possibly even has solidified today what I was doubting yesterday! Thank you SO much for sharing this! Also.... to hear an interview so heavily focused on strengthening and putting the spotlight on BIPOC founders nearly brought me to tears. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Her THETA PHASE was strong for her. From age 0 to 7 yrs old is the programmable phase . She saw success from her dad and living in the BIG HOME . The JESUITS said “ give me the child up to 7 yrs old and I will show you the man “ she learned her belief and confidence from her EARLY CHILDHOOD YEARS ! Her faith and belief was derived at that time . #fact

I loved this interview I thought it was thought provoking and have lots of hope to those who resonate and can empathize with her story. However I wish there were more applied principles shared to help the next generation of entrepreneurs that are working hard to grow their business while bootstrapping, how to scale their business when they do not have the start up capital. When black women less than 1% get investment to start their business and the answer is not to pitch at all then what is our alternative? Overall i thought the conversation was thought provoking and passionate I just would have liked to see more practical steps or advice.

She is incredibly smart and charismatic! And I don't even drink whiskey or bourbon. This was helpful on many levels- I took video excerpts to replay and will take notes on: how she feels confident, learn or serve in every room, OMG I've always said this "don't focus on the problem, focus on the solution." A methaphor if you were on a train track with the train bearing down don't focus on the train, look for nearest way to jump off/or move...Most folks fixate onthe "problem."

This absolutely incorrect information of fawn’s part regarding charred barrels and the filtration process an African American invention; I have read hundreds of articles and manuscripts on alcohol and spirits as that is my area of research and I have a podcast on my channel on this. i also work for historian… in the 1500’s THE FRENCH were already using charred oak barrels to preserve their cognac in France and the rest of Europe was doing the same preserving MANY things. There were already studies being done on this concept and were used charcoal to purify water especially this is a discovery by JT Lovitz Russian scientist. I do love however that fawn shares the heritage of nearest green in helping Jack Daniels with whiskey, fawn weaver is awesome very inspirational and admire what she is doing greatly, but I would not trust her with history. Furthermore THE GREEKS were already using charred oak barrels and filtration processes for food and drink as well. So knowing that it’s not crazy to think many cultures have shared certain practices. Americans really need to study history better especially minorities so they stop feeling so inferior to other cultures that claim they have created American culture and identity.

I want to share that. It’s not just business is mental health. It’s all categories. That’s why it’s called Lyfe.

I feel so blessed to have watched this interview! I have a small suggestion that I hope you don’t mind. If there are two interviewers, they should sit together in the same area. This way, the interviewee doesn’t have to keep turning from one side to the other. The camera can still capture both interviewers from the sides, making the experience more comfortable for the interviewee.

The minute she started speaking of her unshakeable FAITH IN GOD, I felt electrified and energized. The first line of my Catholic devotion this morning was: COURAGE. And last night, the last thing I heard in an interview was a man stating that a priest listened to all his wailing and simply send firmly to him..COURAGE. Now I see Fawn, courage personified. I think The Holy Spirit couldn’t have made what He wants me to learn any clearer😂. God bless all three of these women and may they continue to flourish.🙏🏾
