I can't believe I saw this video. As soon as I saw her face, I knew it was Lisa. I was homeless down in Sarasota in Dec 2014, till Feb 2015.I left for F.T.Myers in early Feb 2015. I met Lisa at a food Bank, and she invited me to stay with her and her husband, Chuck...Looks like the same place, if there is a billboard nearby, it is, she just expanded it.She really is a great person, with a heart of gold...Long story short, I returned back home in Up State N.Y in 2016.. She gets crazy with the Rooster call😂, I'm surprised she didn't do it.I always wondered if she was alright, and now I know Thanks for the Video👍
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 shes not exactly there by not too far away from it. They just cleared the spot you’re talking about recently. She told me off camera about her other camp. Confirmed, but that camp behind B.E was just cleared this week.
@@carguy6784 yes i’m doing really good now, good enough. Where is I wish I lived closer to her. I would help her out a lot since she helped me. The entrance is right next to the billboard you walk right through, but as I understand it from the comments it’s been cleared out, but she’s moved near there somewheres👍
She has great personality, is very industrious, and has too much intelligence to live a normal life in this insane world. The trees and the wild life are her friends, and that resonates with me.
If she is bipolar, as she stated, she is not always happy. If I could live out there and be in peace, I would be much happier, too. Poverty and apartment living is very tough. Her outlook is beautiful, as she now has reached a point where she has found freedom from the dehumanization that happens to the downtrodden. She has fought hard to keep her humanity, as they are trying to rob us of it.
@@tammytilley6051 he died a few years back. I said this because the city has been trying to kick her out for years. Sarasota is one of the hardest counties in america when it comes to vagrancy.

Just started watching. I'm so intrigued. My only concern is if this gets out the leadership of Florida government will make her leave. It's sad but Florida doesn't take kindly to people showing they have homelessness. I don't want to get political, so I'll leave it there. I'm going to finish watching. there 100,000 people homeless in Florida this needs to be covered. like she said the COPS know.. they know where every single camp is.. they usaully go for the JUNKIES, shes not a public threat
She definitely deserves a home that she can decorate. Don't act like this is good enough, as she is happy being interviewed, and sharing her strengths. She deserves so much more.
Shes a very peculiar lady not dangerous most likely a believer. I like her. I will call her the the nymph bird lady of the forest. Shes a very creative joyous soul how can you not just love her. Sees an asset to that space of land. ❤️🇺🇸🕊✝️🕊🇺🇸❤️

It's not "Wicca". You can Love nature without a religion. I have favorite trees too, I'm far from religious. Religion is categorization, and control. Mother Earth gives freely, and does not demand ritual.
I love this lady and her structures. If I could walk, I'd go see her. Her free spirit is wonderful and her work ethic and homeless living ethics are awesome. Some won't clean, even if given the trash cans, but some clean without trash cans. I homesteaded a place in the bushes for 3 years while I attended college when I was 48. I was homeless because of a house fire and had to do something. I agree with this lady. Why think of my mental illness as a bad thing? I make the best of whatever I have or do. Why be miserable?
The government needs to start rehabbing small run down communities and give people like this a free house so they are not homeless. The government did something like this during the 70's through the 80's... Bring back these programs to help reduce homeless. She is mentally challenge and easily taken advantage of and she has a very powerful way of focusing on the positive. Since she is a high functional person with disabilities, she is a perfect person to receive a free home in a small town where she can be part of a community verses homeless and easily taken advantage of. Her private home is not a secret any more after this video.
bring back the nomads and the waay wanderers too old now but I hope I die soon and return quickly so I can be a nomad too... He highlights their humanity and tells their stories. IMO, that's a gift of far greater value than a few bucks or some used clothes. This lady doesn't want "rescue," but she obviously wants to be heard.
I don't think there's anything wrong with her! There is something wrong with US!! Society is effed up, that's the way they want us to be. She hasn't let her life troubles, 'the American Dream' and societal norms bring her down. GOOD FOR HER!! We should all be so lucky!
She’s an interesting character! I love her. She seems to have a great manic energy. I wonder how much she changes when her bipolar goes the other way. She’s definitely got some artistic flair. She should apply for survivor. They need her. I’d love to have lunch with her one day.

There is another homeless lady living outside Joey D's restaurant off of W Manatee Ave . She stays by the trees for shade . I would like to know her story , she is not young and looks disabled .

Unfortunately because of how expensive everything is getting you're going to see even more homeless people.. the average rent is so high nobody can afford it.. people with a fixed income is not going to be able to afford it.. you will see more handicapped people homeless.. you will see more elderly people homeless ..and unfortunately people with mental illnesses are also going to get cut loose on the streets.. a lot of programs are being done away with.. I have been hearing rumors that they are handling all of the services to the illegal immigrants coming in ..I actually believe that.. nothing surprises me anymore
Yeah I saw comments on another video about in NY the illegals get into the shelters first and apparently shelters throwing vets out so illegals can get in. It's then illegal for homeless people to sleep outside 😒. Everything is for the illegals now it's going to get worse and worse everywhere.

That's exactly what I'm talking about Mother earth is our home In America you are considered homeless if you live in a car/tent, but in different parts of the world we have people living in mud bamboo leaf huts in Africa/ Amazon are they homeless people living in caves in Afghanistan are they homeless people living in teepees in Siberia Russia where it's very cold are they homeless We wasn't put on mother earth to pay bills every 30 days yet alone pay other people to live If animals/ insects could talk would they say that they are homeless Again mother earth is our home And if you find yourself traveling from place to place please remember that some of our ancestors were nomads

I was getting brand new clothes donated and handing them to people on the streets of Paterson, NJ. I hope you can continue with these videos about the homeless. Great work! have you ever seen him offer anyone anything? People don't realize the money you can make off the videos here. That's why you have to watch ads first. because he gets paid WELL for it. Just hate to see people exploit people's misfortune and not offer them something. anything.

It is unfortunate but this person has highs when people are positive but as soon as something goes bad, the lows are extreme. She needs to be in a program so she can get into a home.
Prodessional-supposedly scholars / writers did not have the time for a atypical child. They did not have the time to give extra love and care. She is artistic, intelligent, kind, and organized. Bless her heart!
My fiance's doctor prescribed 10 hydros a day for his messed up back when he was 19, back in 1991, before they knew it was addicting. Currently all these ppl addicted to pain pills that try to get off and the gub'ment is dealing the pills they take to get off which is also addicting... They sure are making Bank though and keeping ppl addicted, in the ditches and distracted....
She's happy and not hurting anyone.. this is a homeless person I hope they let be.. ya she's crazy but she's living out her life how she wants, not hurting others
What a lovely lady, our prison systems need to have better programs to educate and and prepare these women to be productive citizens I belive its Switzerland 🇨🇭 who has almost closed all their prison because they have amazing programs. Obviously I'm talking about drug addicts and non violent criminals who still have a chance.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS the plight of the homeless has been a passion of mine in Sarasota since the 80s. When in Planet of the Apes fashion on horseback they'd trash the camps. Everything those people had granted not much lost. I watched programs for mental health close. Programs to address long term addiction needs never addressed. I before retiring worked full time with homeless. Even with OT our checks don't make rent in this area. I say there's two kinds. The back packers and those with a car. 3% of my CO workers were homeless. Full time workers
