Real talk though - have been debating with my friends on this one and we have NO IDEA how the actual miss Mary bobos ones come out that dark color. Using this recipe wasn’t bad, but it didn’t seem exactly like the ones had at the restaurant Feels slightly disingenuous to give a recipe on the official website that isn’t true no??
I think you have a point there. We wondered why in our own kitchen we could not get that same color. Maybe a few more iterations and we might be able to solve this... Might have something to do with the apple selection, the whiskey selection, or possibly, they let it just sit all day in the heating source. Thanks for the comment, much appreciated!!
