When the brother-in-law brings a new tractor to the Fabbed Fun shop, it's time to start welding. The Case International 885 has a Great Bend 440 loader with the GB quick attach mounting. Skid steer buckets and attachments are not compatible, so we have a new bale spear to make.

That’s a nice tractor, about more then trailer wanted! I really appreciate the kind words you said about my channel! I’ve got to where I focus more on watching the newer channels then ones like the Morgan’s. It’s hard for most to grow a channel or it sure has been for me. I’ll return the favor one day for you! The spear looked great! Clever name too 🤣🤣! Take care!

He's had a 580K backhoe on that trailer before... just a wee bit heavy. I'm right there with you on the channels. I definitely don't mine plugging good channels. I want good people who make good content to see success.

I actually added bale spears to my quick attach and the bale spears came from Vevor and they are heat treated and very sharp. The spears came with the weld-on bushing like yours and a large retaining nut for each.. Today, I moved a ton of large square bales from one spot to another as the unloading zone had to be clear for the next load coming in. I was very impressed with it compared to using the pallet forks.

Sounds like a big win! Do they feel durable long term?

@@FabbedFun I believe they are durable. I am amazed how they look like your set. It says they are heat treated and my previous bale spike wasn't and it bent when lifting a heavy bale so it had to go. Except, mine are black and I may paint them orange or yellow to prevent a maybe accident.

That sounds like a really good idea if you have enough material to make it work! Thanks for watching and commenting!
