Nice unit. I like the multi wire approach but have always been worried it would lead to a lot of tangle problems. Currently using a similar design with a single roll which works very well until the hill gets to steep. This would save time for sure. Have you noticed any tangling as you reach the end of the rolls as they begin to jerk near the end? Thanks for the video.
Surprisingly I did not have any tangling issues as long as I drove in a straight line next to the fence. Only one wire has crossed, one time, in all the fence built due to driving around a hole. It’s been great and my fencing project is now complete. Subscriptions and likes are appreciated!
@@DanTheOldToolMan I may give this a try. Your finished fence project gives me hope I've been replacing fence for years with no end in sight. lol Life of a farmer I guess.
I worked on it every weekend for close to a year. I was tired of seeing barbed wire! Finding some young people wanting to earn cash helped also. I would put them on clipping the wire to the post while I stretched and tied off. In the end about 1/2 of the perimeter fence was replaced and all new cross fencing.
