G'day mate , love the video thanks for sharing. I have one question , do you use 2 kg charcoal dust ? or 2kg of lump . it probably doesnt matter, just wondering .
When you use the solid charcoal, does it get much hotter than these briskets? Im wandering if i made solid charcoal would it be apt to burn the food if using the same amount as store bought briskets? I have a pup trailer half full of hardwood thats been in the sun for 3 years. It was split , n stacked to the roof with plenty of ventilation, tin roof , and in the midle of a field where it gets plenty hot during the summer. As.dry as it is , im thinking it would make.quick charcoal
The solid charcoal burns hotter and quicker than briquettes. For most cooking, charcoal is fine. I tend to use a cone to hold the charcoal and then cook around the edges (unless direct heat is required to seat a steak) Temperature can be adjusted using air vents. Charcoal is also good for cooking pizzas. I tend to eat se briquettes for a slow roast.
Why dont you do the grinding inside😂?!! I bet that air filter is screaming That would sure make your burgers taste fine knowing exactly what you are using to cook them.
