Homemade "biomass briquettes/biscuits" fueling a rocket stove. to see how to make them, check for my "homemade briquettes" video on my youtube channel homepage.
We all may just have to learn how to cook with fire again. I'd rather go overcooked on many foods than under. Charred foods won't kill ya xD Nice post. Proof that we can use seasonally sustainable items to heat us and cook our food. Cut down those oaks and they'll heat you for a winter.. reuse the leaves and they'll heat you for a lifetime.
Big Dan Actually there are components of most foods that form confirmed human carcinogens when pyrolyzed (ie charred). Cooking with charcoal is great, but eating charcoal... not so much.
The crap they spray on our food is what is killing us. It's not until people open their eyes and truly turn to eating healthy organic food that their medical problems fade away.
hi there. plant biomass has a naturally occurring substance in it called tannins. it is what holds the material together after you press it down into a briquette or biscuit.
