This is perfect. I have the tools, thanks to my Dad. This will be a fun weekend project. Time to get ready for the summer camp set-up. There are so many uses for the stakes. You are a very creative inventor, appreciate you sharing your construction techniques! I have watched it a few times and took some notes in my camp notebook.
Awesome! very good to hear that youre gonna make some of this gear. Thats the exact reason that I do these types of videos so that DIY type people can make homemade gear and make life easier in the bush. Good luck and thanks for watching my friend.
Man thats awesome! Im very happy to hear you made the potstand and hanger and it works well. Its good to see people make stuff from my vids. Take care and thanks for watching my friend.
This video put a big smile on my face, a couple of years ago grandparents of a friend gave me a whole lot of kebab skewers, I’ve been using them for basically everything, from guiding plants to bending the end and use them as a hook to take things of the fire(I really got a lot so I could spare a few). In a pinch the humble kebab skewer can fill a lot of roles.
"Ain't no big deal" Hahaha. I love how honest and humble you are mate. I stumbled across one of your videos by mistake and i am glad i did. Keep up the great work!
hi,from the u.k..i love your no swearing policy,i swear like trooper all the time,so it is quite refreshing listening to a bro that don,t..is it coz youre a friend of jesus..anyway i absolutly love your vids, please keep them coming they are the best survival tips on the net..bless you my friend
I love those Hooks With No Name - such a great idea, and so easy to make. Your videos rock, but there's one problem with them: they're too addicting, and it's hard not to watch one and just keep watching more!
I love the ideas you have for making things. I would rather make my stuff even when I can buy it for less. Something about the satisfaction and ability to have it the way I want.
Man, please take out a patent on these things. This must be the third time that I've watched this vid, and your inventions are excellent. Big companies must have discovered them by now, and you deserve the credit/royalties.
Hi David, I love the way you come up with solutions and then go into your shop and make it. Love my shed time either making things up with a practical application or repairing things. Thank you for sharing. Gerry...Ireland
I often wonder if you ever realize just how ingenious and talented you really are. You make me feel absolutely useless in some of my bright ideas. Lol.
Another excellent video. Thanks for sharing and providing great ideas for making gear. Your designs are easy to understand, functional and I can see myself making them instead of buying them.
Cool! I always love to hear when kids or grandkids will be trying to make some of the things I do. Kids these days need to make more things with their hands just like in the old days. I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for watching my friend.
Thanks bro. Tool envy is almost as good as machete envy, lol. I learned all different types of welding during and right after high school. I started building roll cages and tube frames in race cars and thats where I got good at tig welding. Later on I got into tool and die work and really got good at tig.
Love that little green thingamabob.hehe.i made the potholder out of an old flint striker for my torch in the shop at work before i retired.then everybody wanted 1.
Well, all your super secret bushcrafting tips are out now. You are no longer a man of mystery! ;) Both part 1 and 2 are packed with great info, Dave. It was kind of you to take the time to show the rest of us. Personally, I love watching the fabrication stage of anything. Never liked metalwork in highschool, but I love it now. Weird. I just like making things out of raw materials. Very cool videos. Blessings on you, brother.
These are some really great devices. I believe I might actually incorperate them into my own stash. That line slider hanger is especially awesome. Thanks so very much.
