There are many videos using angles or smooth rods with bearings. However, your method of using the groove in aluminium extrusion is unique. Nice video!
Very nice and unique design. Using aluminum extrusion is a new one that I haven't seen others use. Great Job!! (You had at least 2 different soundtracks going at once. We would rather hear nothing but the sound of your tools. Please consider for future videos.)
Checkout JSK-koubou. You will be amazed to see how this kind of jigs are made properly. The one in this video, looks like is made by toddlers at kindergarten.
@@1zanglang love his work! In fact, he inspired me to purchase linear rails and accessories to make my own panel saw. I have it attached to pulleys that then are attached to the ceiling and hangs up out of the way when not in use. I hardly use my table saw anymore because the panel saw I made handles full sheets of plywood. JSK is brilliant.
They're just called aluminum extrusions commonly. 2020 (20mm x 20mm) and 4040 (40mm x 40mm) are common sizes but there are some others. Misumi sells various sizes and cut to size lengths.
одного не могу понять..бля..зачем все самодельщики склеивают деревяшки друг на друга для достижения нужного размера ?? а не проще подобрать его из цельного куска.
