@@ceejay331 There’s another way to do it, put it in hot oil and wait for it to get a golden brown if crispy/crunchy. If you want it soft, do it for atleast 10-15 minutes.

Followed the exact procedure, looks similar but chips were soft in the middle. The final product totally depends on the type of potatoes whether you wash it or not after peeling. Earlier I successfully made potato and banana chips very easily.

Thank you for this clip and your wafers show made my day. This show also inspired me to sew dozens of pairs of socks with potatoes all over them. (especially where my big toes are ). I love the socks and I had now sold about 300 pairs. Most importantly by being a 68 year old widow , gives me something to do. My daughter in love said that she loves them. I am now on my journey to make wafer slippers.

At our place we just directly slice it into the hot oil and sprinkle with salt Chilli and lime juice when still hot and crisp😋😋😋 I have to give soaking them a try. U can do the same with cassava too and have cassava crisps 😋😋😋😋 Am already drooling 🤤

Thank you for this video, we’re just enjoying a bowl of homemade crisp. One thing I would have in mind next time is to watch my oil temperature more closely and not to add too much crisps at a time. Oil gets quite splashy and it isn’t my best dream to have boiling oil all around the kitchen. Anyway, tastes great with just a bit of salt and pepper. I also added one beetroot to mine that I forgot to mention.

بتجيبي 5 بطاطات مغسولات بتقشريهم بتقطعيهم بالقطاعة وتكون رقيقة جدا بتنقعيها بالماء لمدة ما بين 5-10 دقائق وبعدين بتغسليهم وبتحطي بصينية مناديل من تحت وبتحطي قطع البطاطا فوق المناديل و بتحطي مناديل فوق قطع البطاطا كمان مشان تنشيفهم .. وبتحطيهم ع قلاية فيها زيت سخن وبتخليهم لحتى يصير لونهم اصفر ويصيروا زي الشيبس وبتحطيهم بصحن وبعدين بتحطي عليهم ملح او لابابريكا او فلفل اسود شو ما تحبي..
