Homemade Glazed Donuts Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon yeast
1/2 cup warm water
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons butter, melted
1/4 cup warm milk
1 egg
1 egg yolk
3 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions：
1. In the bowl, mix the warm water, yeast and 1 teaspoon of sugar together and let poof 5 minutes.
2. Whisk in the remaining sugar, salt, warm milk, butter, egg, and egg yolk. Add in the flour and mix until dough comes together. Knead for at lease 10 minutes. The dough should be tacky, place in an oiled bowl and allow to rise 1 to 2 hours in a warm place.
3. Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface and roll out to a 1/2 inch thickness.
4. Cut out donuts using a 3 inch cookie cutter or donut cutter. Re-use scraps and continue cutting out remaining dough. Allow donuts to rise another 30 minutes.
5. Heat the oil in a pot over medium-low heat to 350° F degrees. Fry donuts until lightly golden on each side. Transfer onto paper towels.
6. Dip warm donuts in the glaze.

Vanilla Donut Glaze:
1 ½ cup powdered sugar
3 tablespoons milk
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
(food coloring optional)
Chocolate Donut Glaze:
1½ cups powdered sugar
4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Maple Donut Glaze:
1 ½ cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
4 tablespoons maple syrup
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
Cinnamon Sugar:
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoons cinnamon
Instructions:
In a bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients until silky and smooth. If you want it thinner add a little more milk.
