How to make your own homemade electronic game call. Your very own $30 Foxpro! RadioShack part numbers: 1) Powerhorn #401440 2) Mini Amplifier #2771008 3) 1/8" Mono Plug #2740868 Get free game calls from: Varmital.com. Just google it.
Figured out what problem was.... Mini amp was already broke. Radio shack replaced it no questions asked... Hooked it all up... MONEY!!!! To avoid soldering I got the mono plug that has wire coming out to a split.... I'm so pumped to go out and work it!!! Thanks so much for posting video!!!!!
Great idea! Thanks! I went to RadioShack right after I saw your vid. Just put it all together and gave the horn a camo job. I cant believe how loud this thing is! Cant wait to try it out in the field. Thanks again, for the how to and for saving me a ton of money!
I have a fox pro wildfire and don’t like it. Selectors don’t work quick enough and sometimes have to select them several times to get them to work. The adult rabbit distress has an audible chirp/click at the end of each sequence.
Great video. I have mine in the works you gave me a good start. But what about using a car alarm so you can have your caller on a remote. Go to a pick your part and get one for cheap.
I just did mine like this, and realistically (with a soldering iron, solder, heat shrink, etc.) I'm up to about $75 not including spray paint, case, and 3.5 mm extension
Nice, thanks! I'm going to put one together for calling coyotes and snow geese. For $2.99 I got a hunting calls ap for the iPhone with 100 prerecorded calls.
I got your exact setup today except for mono plug. I got a 6ft mono male to stripped end so I didn't have to soder (sp?) part # 4202434 thanks for the video! Can't wait to get mine up and going!
Ok... I got all the parts, and hooked everything up... But it's not loud at all.... It's barely louder than the iPod speaker. Any suggestions where I went wrong?
ME TOO, and it's starting to piss me off. I call it the El Crapo because out of the three speakers I tried only one of them work, and it sounds like crap O.
I have called in three coyotes in three days with nothing more than an app on my cell phone and a bluetooth speaker. Today I set my speaker in the fork of a small tree and sat down about 30 feet away. Within about fifteen minutes a coyote ran up to the tree and circled around it looking for the rabbit.
This is great !!! I'm going to RadioShack tomorow and building one for sure!! What is neet about it, I can record my own sound and have it in my MP3 !! TNX so much @+++++
i have two of the two watt radio shack power horn with the detachable microphone; i put the battery in them and i turn it on and talk and they don't work! i need help; ~_~
I find that I like to call them in with a hand call, when I see one its nice to let this play and they are distracted away from me. Thanks for watching, and good luck!
this is pretty cool but who wants to drag around a bunch of wire? I will stick with my western river. however I may rig up a louder speaker like the one you show in the video to it.
