I am sick of these tutorials to cut the seem of bucking, I have seen it in several videos. After cutting it, when I return the rubber to its original position, the rubber has expanded and no longer enters the hop-up chamber. I have tried it with 3 different rubbers and always the same. I can not understand it.
Try a g&g green bucking. file down the ridges with sand paper. dont use the knife takes to much off or I know it's a pain if thats a no go for you! try maple leaf 60 or 70 degree bucking with the concave nub that's pretty much a flat hop that's what I use I get the same range as r hop no joke!

They cut it so you don't end up using the internal side where the mound was and it's possible to rotate the rubber and use the fine molded opposite side. You can keep it if you are capable of sanding the mound off and leave the surface completely flat and ready for BB contact, which is VERY hard to do.
