I like your design. Good video too. I dont know about saving $300-400. You can buy a bigger one for $300 with a travel cover. But even without saving any money, glad you like making these things.

I think you did a great job well done ! I just bought a singer sewing machine to do the same thing ! Did you have a high end sewing machine mine is a singer 411 heavy duty I hope it will sew the canvas! Great job liked your video
Nice video! I've been laying out plans in my mind to go about turning my med small jet sked into a side style pull over. Was thinking about using square aluminum tubing? Any thoughts on durability?
That kid Mike - it's attached to the sled, and screwed to two of the poles through washer like graumets. And the other poles slide through a hoop i sewed into the canvas. The metal graumets work nice.
how did you do the stitching? What kind of material did you use? Looks awesome! I want to build one very similar but with a wooden homemade sled as the base.

That’s awesome for a homemade!!! I’m trying to wrap my head around making a 1 man wind break or fully enclosed how did you get the hinges right? Did you measure or trial and error?
King Boys , I just later one piece of conduit on top of the last, left a little room and drilled a hole. The hoop that goes down on the ice is on the outside of the hinge and is bent to go right down on the ice, so position doesn't matter as much
