I love it! So. Many guys focusing on making it perfect on RU-vid. Nice to see someone making guides on just making it WORK, for the regular DIY-ers. Keep it up!
Regarding the drilling of the tube u should weld a flat piece of metal on the tube temporarily to allow u to drill the holes straight without the tighten it on the vice
In this video I show you how and here in Brazil we make ovens too.... On my channel I show you how the gas burner with air diffuser was made, at low pressure! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4VMuHQIe8C8.html 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Great work. I live in India and am working on my first gas pizza oven. How did you figure out the distance from the first burner hole and method for gas air mixing? Any idea where I can find literature on this? I don't even know what to search.
Do you think we can make a U shaped pipe burner? Where would we enter the gas, from the middle of the U? Will the glass flow to the two parts of the U? Thanks brother. Shokran
Somebody tell me what the hell I am doing wrong. I have made two of these pipe burners one with a 1" pipe and one with 3/4". No matter what I do my flame starts out weak, but it gets strong toward the end of pipe. instead of drilling holes for the flames, I cut slots every 1/2" for a total of 34 slots. I have tried different orifices with different size holes and still uneven. people have said gas is shooting out too fast and its passing by the first ones too quickly, but like I said, I have tried different orifices with larger holes to slow down the flow, just not happening. any ideas?
If the flow is low it means that the pressure is low inside the pipe so You need to make the slots even smaller or drill them starting with 1.5 mm and if you need stronger flame take them to 2 mm and drill the gas valve hole with 1mm or 1.5 drill bit qnd don't forget to make a system to control the air gas mixture. As you see brother there is a lot of variables so try to simplfy by starting with small everything and then you can make it bigger .i used in my experiment first square tube untill i was satisfied with the results then i made my final burners
I don't thin there is a big difference if any. But it is easier to drill round holes on the body of the oven when the time will come to put the burners inside that's all
@@TheHomecrafter1988 I understand this, no problem, keep up the good work, and for my part, I will try to prepare a blueprint for what I want to accomplish, and of course you can even publish it on your channel while retaining all rights, and of course your reward will be calculated. Saha ramdanek.
Can you make me one and sell it to me I am building a brick piazza oven I want such a thing to make it gas instead of wood powered So can you help me out By the way are you in the united stares?
I'm from Algeria .So its little bit hard to send it to you hhh. Sorry brother And if you want to make one there is a lot of simpler designs that you can make with simple tools "no welding" that are great for pizza oven good luck
It has six burners at least it is better then my small oven and I'm putting fiber isolation and thick piece of steel inside that will help maintain the heat better
with that drill bit even higher hhh. This is a speed chart for the drill press and every drill bit you will probably use at which speed www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=www.imperialsupplies.com/pdf/3660-5_F_Drill_Bit_Sheet_Update.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwig1Za05e_wAhVRVsAKHeTOCXgQFjANegQIGhAC&usg=AOvVaw3Q3iKPGruMuT-_WKONreDJ
@@TheHomecrafter1988 well, I am not as experienced fabricator as you are as I do it time to time only, but in my humble experience 10 mm hole in stainless 304 is never higher than 500 rpm . Better lower than that as high speed burns my bits . 12 mm I did with 100 or so rpm . It seems charts give too high speed, even on a good drill press I burnt a cobalt bit 12 mm in 3 holes trying to cut at 250 rpm .
Stainless steel 304 i go 4 mm at 750 rpm, then 10 mm at 500 rpm, then 12 mm at 100 -150 ( reduced the speed myself , not sure how fast it is or how slow )
Yes you're right about 10mm in stainless steel because it's harder than mild steel. But when I use it here the hole is small 2.5mm and the steel is thin . Some times I cheat and drill with what ever the previous speed I set befor usually 500 or 600 rpm lazy but less work hhh
