Homemade Granola // Escalloped Potatoes For The Freezer // Avalon’s Birthday //

Down below I have the scallop potato recipe and also the granola recipe for you to enjoy. :-)

Escalloped Potatoes 
6 cups medium potatoes
3 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons chopped onions
3 cups milk.
2 tablespoons flour
Pepper to taste.
1 teaspoon parsley.
Slice potatoes. Make a white sauce of butter, flour, and milk. Place half of the potatoes in a greased casserole and cover with half of the sauce and seasonings. Add remaining potatoes and seasonings then remaining sauce. Cover and bake in a moderately hot oven 400° for about one hour . Uncover and continue baking until top forms. A brown crust and potatoes are done.
PS, like I did in the video, you can add many different things to this basic potato recipe.
Granola
12 cups quick oats
Two packages, graham crackers, crushed
2 cups shredded coconut
3 cups wheat germ
1 cup brown sugar or substitute with honey.
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda.
Four sticks butter, melted.
You can always use half peanut butter instead of all of the butter.
And you can add sunflower, seeds, raisins, mini chips, etc.
Mix dry ingredients first then melt wet ingredients together and mix into the dry ingredients.
Spread on cookie sheets or cake pans and toast in the oven at about 300 to 325°.  stir about every 10 minutes until golden brown. Enjoy!
