Kimchi is one of the superfoods you can easily make at home. I make mine using all ingredients available in a local market in Thailand.
Ingredients
Veggies:
Napa cabbage 1 kg.
White turnip 1
Carrot 1
Spring onion 5-6 stems
Paste:
Fresh ginger, 1 inch length
Red chili 7 stems ( omit it if you can't stand the heat)
Thai chili powder 1 tablespoon ( for not so spicy kimchi, substitute with 3 tablespoons Korean one or ground Cayenne pepper )
Brown sugar 4 tablespoons
Sriracha chili sauce 5 tablespoon
Fish sauce 5 tablespoon
Cooked rice 1 cup
