@@DebbyNovrinal Are you planning on painting it? Normally, DIY lathes look better painted, but the surface finish is so smooth, it doesn't need paint unless it's for rust protection.
At 0:45, you arc weld on the lathe. Are you grounding thru the gears, or do you have a ground on the back end of the spindle? The reason I ask is, you did such a great job building the lathe. It would be a shame to damage the gears by grounding thru them. I would recommend some type of magnetic or brushed ground as close to the part as possible to prevent the possibility of bonding the chuck jaws or gearbox. Keep up the good work! Mas,saya ada copotan spindle set bekas bor 32mm udah bisa blm ya buat dibikiin milling,pakai spindle taper mt3,OD diameter quill (spindle sleeve) 65mm. Rncana quill sleeve pakai honed tube/pipa hidrolik kayanya pas dg OD quill.
Untuk bodi rata rata pakai baja ss400 mas,slidnya bebas tergantung pemakaian,kalau mas pakai baja biasa disarankan slidenya di kombinasikan dengan kuninggan
