Wow....now you know why commercial builders of milling machine use castings.....this is totally OK for a one off build and can be exactly tailored to your needs.....extremely well done.
Great project👍 I am waiting for the next episodes as when You building a lathe. Weld the sheets to the bottom of the base of the milling machine and fill with epoxy granite, each kilogram minimizes vibration during milling
Debbie’s work is very high quality but would be much more helpful if he would supply a materials list and better yet with a set of blueprints. I am sure people would be more than willing to pay for those additions and given the number of views of his work it could prove to be a source of significant income for him.👍👍👍👍👍
Great, new project! I watch the video with pleasure, it will be interesting to see what technical solutions will be on the milling machine. How does a lathe work, does it cut metal normally? I would like to see his work in the manufacture of a milling machine. Good luck brother! P.S. Today I just finished making a quick-change tool holder for a lathe, with cassettes for a turning tool. My milling machine helped me do this.
Build a big bonfire with timber. Put the fabrication into hit, keep piling on the timber. When it is covered in coals and ash, leave the fire to die out. Wait till the ash and coal are completely cool. Pull out your fabrication and it will be stress relieved. Tap it now and it will ring, after the stress relieving tap it and will sound dull.
I've been watching you're past and presennt videos, and sir you've got and extream talent you are only using grinder for cutting such a thick steel,and you got an extra ordinary control in you're wrist,i wish i had a skill like your's

@@DebbyNovrinal thanks, Im planning to build one too, your work is inspiring. SS400 is a Japanese standard of steel but basically similar or equivalent to ASTM A36 mild steel, a very common ASTM steel use in bridges a building industry common in my place.

Berdasarkan tebal plat yg digunakan Saya pake mesin las kecil yg 450w Dan untuk mekanisme gearbox baik untuk pengaturan kecepatan atau membuat ulir (threading) Dan automatic feed apronnya Apakah om punya rekomendasi buku atau info tutorial yg bisa menjelaskan secara detail tentang hal tersebut agar bisa saya pahami. Iya om untuk feed apron yang om bikin itu Kan Ada gear yang konek ke cross slide untuk otomatisnya ya Kan, untuk tahap awal kayanya saya coba yg biasa aja dulu om Cuma saya masih belum paham sepenuhnya untuk mekanisme gear dalam pembuatan ulir Jadi yg masih belum saya paham itu mekanisme yg memisahkan dlm pembuatan ulir sama otomatis feed apronnya. Trus sama puteran baliknya om Oia untuk soal motor (dinamo) Rekomendasi om pake yg berapa pk/hp Rencananya saya mau pake yg 2 pk/hp, 1 phase Untuk chucknya saya punya yg 3 jaw 5 inch Dan untuk cone pulley (pully susun) bagusan bahan alumunium atau besi ?
