In this video, I mix my own paint, completely from scratch. Most of the products are from my kitchen. 😁 BUT, did it turn out? 🤔

MILK PAINT RECIPE:
1/2 gallon skim milk
1 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup hydrated lime
color pigment
3 cups Plaster of Paris
-Mix 1/2 gallon skim milk and 1 cup white distilled vinegar in a bowl.
-Let sit for 2 hours or more. (I let mine sit overnight)
-Pour the mixture into a cheesecloth lined strainer. Rinse a bit with water. As it is straining, pour a half cup of hydrated lime (I used pickling lime) into the bowl.
-Gently squeeze out some of the liquid from the milk mixture. Put the mixture back into the bowl, with the lime, and mix thoroughly.
-Add color pigment.

The other option is getting paint formula at your hardware store.
Mix this thoroughly.
-Add 3 cups Plaster of Paris. amzn.to/3yWXQ9I
-Mix until smooth. You can use a beater to get rid of any lumps
-Store in an airtight container!
