That table runner is the cutest thing I've ever seen. Couldn't have been made for a sweeter person. Whoever sent that to you , knew how appreciative you'd be. Someone on here said "you inspire kindness".. Perfect👍🌱 God Bless 💛
I am really enjoying these dry mixes Ms. Lori. Thank you for sharing them with us. I can't wait to see what ones you have for us next. That Table Runner is beautiful. Whoever made that for you, is very talented. Much love to you and Mr. Brown. God Bless You Both. Huggggggs
Orrington farms is by far the best beef ..chicken and ham broth mix ever‼️ I knew I was hooked on your videos for a reason, we have a lot in common. Thank you
You have, and continue to bless, all of us every time we watch and listen to your videos. Your deep wisdom and your caring and concerned ways for each of us is clearly evident. I’m a subscriber for life, Ms Lori! Thanks again for being you.
I made a quilt for my grandson using all kinds of bugs fabric that I cut into quart jars. Turned out so cute and he loved it! He was 6 at the time and was crazy about bugs. After seeing your table runner, I might make myself a runner too!
love your channel. you are such an inspiration I love your calm soothing voice. I love how you and Mr.Brown interact you can feel the love and respect you all have for each otherrr.
I am so thankful that the Lord led me to your wonderful channel. You will never ever know what you have done for me during this part of my "healing journey". I am so looking forward to making these fantastic rubs. Have a blessed weekend.
Beautiful runner! I wish I had a mom that was like you. My mom worked two jobs so she never cooked a lot. I did a lot of our cooking. You always make me smile.
Aw, you made me cry! People are so sweet sometimes. Wished you would have showed us your smoked pork 😜 Save your top from Parmesan cheese! It fits on a pint canning jar and has big holes 😉
Yahooo!!!! More seasonings. Thank you so much. I really like your videos- I like to watch them over & over. You have the softest voice. Thanks again & God bless you from grandma Katie in Oregon
Oh, I love the canning jar table runner. How sweet! Girl, when you said you weren't going to cry, I cried for you. Thanks for the recipes on dry rubs. Exactly what I was needing. God Bless you both! x♡x♡x♡
Ms Lori , Hello ! You could have Mr Brown make you a shaker. A pint canning jar , plastic lid , drill holes in the top to the size of your choosing. I made one for my sugar & cinnamon for toast. Works great. Take care , God Bless. 👍👍😊
If you want a shaker, give Mr. Brown a metal jar lid and have him punch holes in it with a nail. Size of nail determines size of holes, so you can have a variety. To seal when not shaking, use another solid lid on top to keep fresher. Love the table runner.
When we buy garlic powder and onion powder here in Scotland, they clump together if you buy a decent sized batch. I have to keep mine in the freezer to have it free flowing. Great mixes x
That table runner is gorgeous! I just bought a mortar & pestle a couple weeks ago to mash up pills for my dog. Now I will start making some dry rubs.. thank you!!!
Love your videos so much. My mom is gone, I’ve got no aunts, or cousins. Never did. My mom was an immigrant from Ireland after her mother died when she was 7, and she lost touch with all her family. I hope it’s ok that I feel like you are like an aunt or cousin I never had.
I add cloves of garlic to my beef roasts like this also. We love garlic! Thank goodness that smoke meat does not bother me at all! We smoke a lot of meat and we love it! Now I am starving!
Miss Lori, its so exciting to see that I'm not the only one who uses a mortar and pestle.😃. Mine was actually given to me as a gift when I graduated from nursing school and had no idea what the significance was. In the 1800s, this is what they used to grind medicine with. I actually use it in my kitchen.😃 You are truly inspirational to me, not only your wonderful recipes but amazing stories. I was raised in an Italian family so my Mom and Grandmother were my greatest influences for the love of cooking. And now, I'm learning so much from you Miss Lori. Thank you again. And, I'm so sorry for the long post❤
The table runner is gorgeous!!!! Wish I could do quilting!!!!!! Love your seasonings....they are awesome!!!! I'm always looking for your next video!!! Thank you!!!
For easy lessons to learn to quilt go to Missouri Star Quilt Company on RU-vid and Jenny Doan on her videos teaches how to do everything about quilting.

"Have a beautiful day" I thought I was the only one thay said that lol. I've really enjoyed your dry mix video's, just found you last night. I can't wait to check out the rest of your video's. Thanks for sharing
Ny Italian Grandmother and Mother taught me to do the same with stuffing the garlic in pork. That was almost 50 years ago and still do it because it is delicious!
Ms. Lori, you are so right about a kitchen, I have a big country kitchen but when I point it out to people, I really only have about a 4 foot of working counter space. Somehow over the years I've just got accustomed to it. I love your kitchen! My son found a very smooth square thick rock with a very smooth depression into it and we believe it was a mortar used by the Indians. i love the runner!
I love watching your videos. I don’t live to far from Imboden. I live in Harrisburg. Watching your videos I feel at home so much. Thanks for what y’all do.
CONGRATULATIONS 🥳 Lori & Danny on reaching 60K subscribers!!!...Well done! So very proud of you both 👍🏻 Sending you a BIG cyber hug from Down Under 🇦🇺 XOX
That pork roast looks so good covered in your dry rub. I save Parmesan cheese shaker jars to store and dispense dry rub mixes and different spice blends. Thank you for all your wonderful recipes and good cooking.
I was looking at that runner and hoping to see more of it. It is adorable. My cousin has a quilt shop in Oklahoma with lots of cute fabrics. Everything in your kitchen looks like professional photo set ups, so pretty everywhere you look. 😸
I paused your video and showed my husband your beautiful quilt. That is the cutest thing.....!! Canning Jars...!! I love watching you cook and make your rubs or dry mixtures . I told my husband about you using your canning jars to store different things in . I think that's such a neat idea...!! I love you Miss Lori and Mr. Brown . God bless you both...!! ❤😘
I just found your site and just love how down to earth cooking you do and thank you for sharing all the good recipes ,your voice is soothing and I also love all those spice mixes or soups things you can make now and store for when things get bad !
LOVE THAT YOU ALWAYS WRITE OUT YOUR YUMMY DELICIOUS RECIPES AND DIRECTIONS UNDERNEATH SO WE CAN HAVE THEM FOR LATER FOR PEOPLE LIKE ME WHO CAN NOT COOK THANK YOU SO MUCH
What a great idea to put the garlic pieces directly into the meat! And your spices smell wonderful together (but I gotta get a mortar & pestle). I've never even used cumin before I found you! Love the quilt - I enjoy quilting! You're a joy!💖
I just love your channel! You are just a good ole gal. You are down to earth & so sincere. I’ve been loving these mixes. Of course, I love all your videos. Where in Texas are you from? I grew up in Dallas. Love & Hugs from Vicki in Ft. Worth, Texas 🇨🇱🇺🇸👍❤️😁
Whippoorwill Holler - My dad was from Wolfe City, just North of Greenville. We have family reunions in the park in Greenville. Small world. Y’all have a wonderful weekend. I bet that pork roast was delicious.
Thank you so much, Miss Lori! You are a treasure! I am writing down all these recipes and I'm going to expand my pantry to include them all! Much love! God Bless!
I made your spaghetti mix and sauce tonight and my family just loved it! I will be making this from now on. I always can homemade spaghetti sauce, but your way is better. Thanks so much for sharing with us.
Love the table runner! I need to find the pattern. Really enjoying your spice mixes! Thank you so much for all you share with all of us. God Bless you and Mr Brown.
Lovely table runner! It fits your home and personality perfectly! Whoever made it did an outstanding job - the canning jars couldn't be more perfect. Thank you for the rub and spaghetti mix recipes!
Love these dry recipes and also the quilted table runner. It's beautiful. Would love to see, (at some stage) how you preserve your herbs, from garden to jar. I have so many in my garden but not too sure how to best dry them. Blessings from New Zealand xx Kate.
As a young bride, my mother in law gave me a recipe she'd found for a homemade spaghetti sauce. I no longer use that recipe, but I've loved, for nearly 56 years, and continue to add, the ALLSPICE that recipe contained, to my own homemade sauce.
Thsnks for all these wonderful mixes for our pantries Ms Lori! I love Morten and Pestles slso , I only have 1 but it’s special to me a good friend brought it back for me when she went home to Mexico its visit her family , it’s made out of Lava rock and has become smooth over the years from use but is still rough o. The outside and the prestel head is smooth but the shaft is still rough! God bless ❤️🙏🙋🏻
I've started growing my own herbs and wasn't sure what to do with all of them, these video's have help me to use them up. Thank you sooo much. Keep them coming!
I love garlic and onions and bell peppers too . Use them all the time. That mix look's good and I have a pork loin in the freezer I'll make up the rub and get that loin out to defrost and cook it tomorrow . I only have my oven but with that rub it should still be good. Thank's for sharing this with us. 🌷💗
I just love your Jar Quilt (table runner?); I'm getting ready to make a lap quilt myself and hope it'll turn out as beautiful as yours. Thanks for sharing Ms Lori 💓
Thank you, Ms. Lori, for the sharing. I Love to quilt and the Jar table runner is very Lovely. Was wondering if you quilted. I was watching another one of your videos and spied another quilt. Thank you again.
I love that your sharing all these season mixes, I got a mortar and pestle for Christmas so will be following along with you. The table runner is so beautiful, you are much loved dear lady, hugs and blessings
Ginger sounds tasty in your pork rub, and I want to make these two seasoning mixes soon. I need to get back to using more homemade mixes---to control the salt level and flavor---to eliminate those packages wth the scary sounding preservative chemicals---and for the satisfaction of cutting costs. Your canning jar table runner is delightful. I may have to check my fabrics stash, and try that pattern. It would look cute for oven mitts, aprons, a towel applique---and more. My talented mom (a self-taught seamstress) made a crib quilt for each of her 12 grandkids, and several doll quilts coordinated to themes of some of the many porcelain dolls that she made (in expensive dollmaker classes at a doll shop).
what a Beautiful work of art. Love it and Lori I just have to say, you are such a Beautiful Person inside and out. I just keep coming back to see what you have every day. I find so much comfort here with you and listening to you sweet stories. I especially Love that you are being who you really are. thank you for the friendship and Videos that you share with all of us Viewers. take Care and God Bless you . :) :)
You have been so helpful, especially since I am trying to get away more from store bought, premade canned and jarred goods! God bless!! 🙂 And very cute table runner!!
Your Afghan is a show piece in my sitting room, danny covered up with it the other night, I said what are you doing! He said I'm cold, I said do not get it dirty, and hang it back over my chair when your done! Xoxoxo
With spaghetti sauce mix going for almost $4 a packet at the grocery store, this is so much easier to have on hand and cost saving, too! Thanks! I love mortars and pestles, too. 🥰💕❤️👍
