this is my first attempt at a R/C aircraft in 15 years. (makes me feel old...)
i built the radio control system and the airframe from scratch.
unfortunatley there was no wind today to try some slope soaring so no inflight video.

@pilotdynan yea, it flies surprisingly well for a first attempt. my more recent efforts are powered by an electric motor which makes staying in the air far less weather dependent (and easier).

that is awesome and gave me a great idea for a foam glider im gonna be building thats seriously impressive with the ps2 controller

thanks! i'm working on a more advanced version that can do 2 way communication so i can get data back from the plane. battery life, airspeed, etc. dunk.

i presume you mean range of the RC? i have not actually tested it's maximum range but it's over a kilometer Line Of Sight. or maybe 200 meters with buildings in the way. dunk.

what kind of chip controls the wireless connection between the ps2 controler and the plane?
