The important thing about this build is that the kids love it, thats the only thing that matters. Storm water pipe, joints, paint and glue was from local hardware Net was from eBay bit.ly/2tRWijM Total cost approximately $120 AUD
This video was back in 2017 so price has increased but at the time it was all up about $120. Currently the PVC pipe is roughly $25 each with angle joiners around $2.50 each. Clips about $5 a pack of about 5 and net is $75 roughly. Link is in the description. These are all in Australian Dollars. Currently the Goals are still in use and is working fine. Side note, the goals are usually separated so it can be stored and gets used maybe 5-6 times a year (5-6 weeks) Hope that helps.
Yeah I would assume it would. The net you see in my video is roughly 5m long (16x7). I just keep excess to one side and use those plastic yellow clip to keep it stretched to shape, it works fine
This pipe is 90mm diameter, I looked at using 75mm pvc pipe initially but decided to go with the 90 as it was much cheaper. A 6 metre length of 90mm pvc stormwater pipe at my local hardware store is $15.65 AUD
Goal is over a year old now and still works perfectly. You could of course buy a goal and I have done so in the past, but the advantages of making a goal like in the video is, its inexpensive (especially for size) / light weight (easy to move ) / durable / weatherproof (uv stabalised and wont rust) / disassembles (easy to store) / easy to make (basic tools and common products from hardware stores) and also its fun.
