Can you tell us how much ingredients to use to make a large batch? That would save alot of time making it in larger bulk ? Please and Thank you.
@KerriAnnsKravings
@KerriAnnsKravings Год назад
Hey Sandra, thank you for your valuable feedback and question! If you're looking to make a larger batch of my condensed milk recipe, I would recommend using a ratio of 2:1 for the milk and sugar. For example, you can use 28 ounces of milk and 14 ounces of sugar to make a double batch, or 42 ounces of milk and 21 ounces of sugar for a triple batch. Just make sure to adjust the cooking time accordingly to ensure the mixture thickens properly. I hope this helps and happy cooking! xx

Do you think this will work with Lactose free whole milk?
@KerriAnnsKravings
@KerriAnnsKravings 11 месяцев назад
@karendobbs5649 Hey Karen, thanks for reaching out. Yes, you can definitely use lactose-free milk to make condensed milk following the same method shown in the video. Additionally, using coconut milk is another great lactose-free alternative for making condensed milk. Both options work well and provide a lactose-free choice for those who need or prefer it! In terms of measurements, they would generally remain the same. However, due to the different fat content and consistency between lactose-free, regular, and coconut milk, you might need to adjust the sugar to taste or keep an eye on the consistency as it cooks to ensure it reaches your desired thickness. Hope this helps and let me know if you have any additional recipe related questions. Happy cooking! xo

what kind of powdered milk?
@KerriAnnsKravings
@KerriAnnsKravings Год назад
Hey Marita, to address your question, traditionally, condensed milk is made by simmering regular milk and sugar together until it reduces and thickens. Powdered milk is not commonly used in traditional condensed milk recipes. However, if you're looking for an alternative or have specific dietary preferences, using powdered milk could be an option. While I haven't personally used powdered milk to make condensed milk, it can be reconstituted with water to create a liquid milk consistency. You can then proceed to simmer it with sugar, following the same process as with regular milk. Keep in mind that the flavor and texture of the condensed milk made with powdered milk might be slightly different from the traditional version. It's always a good idea to experiment and adjust the recipe according to your taste preferences. I hope this helps clarify the possibility of using powdered milk for making condensed milk. xx

So , u used 1 litar of milk ?
@KerriAnnsKravings
@KerriAnnsKravings 9 месяцев назад
Hey love, actually, it’s not one liter of milk; I used 2 1/4 cups, which is approximately 530 milliliters, and the sugar is 2/3 cup, which is around 133 grams. Hope that helps! If you have more questions, feel free to ask.🫶🏾

Is it possible to use coconut sugar instead of white sugar???

Yes, coconut sugar, pure maple syrup, coconut nectar, agave nectar, or stevia should work just fine. Let me know if you have anymore questions. xx

I used a Crock Pot to reduce this
@KerriAnnsKravings
@KerriAnnsKravings 6 месяцев назад
Hey Harry, that's an interesting technique with the Crock Pot! It's less traditional and might take longer, but I can see the appeal of its "set it and forget it" convenience - just be sure to stir it occasionally to keep that consistency smooth. Thanks for sharing your method! xx
