The insane attention to detail in this continues to amaze me, as it did in older Homemade Movies episodes. You just have a nack for picking exactly the right elements to focus on so it really feels like the trailer.
This is honestly exactly what I needed right now. A comforting throwback to a simpler time when I obsessed over Homemade Movies and not the possible end of the world...
@@drexlordpa8778 Yes but many people have died both then and now so we should still be cautious and it's nice that my videos can maybe people nostalgic for times when the world wasn't in complete chaos.
As an aspiring filmmaker who’s 13 years old, I have always loved homemade movies. When I was in the hospital with my sister (who passed away with cancer about six months ago), we would always follow the tips and techniques in these videos. These videos are the reason I want to be director when I’m an adult, so I was so devastated when it all ended. I decided to rewatch all the old videos and so this one was posted. I would just like to say thank you, this really helps in these hard times.
Can't believe WB blocked monetization for the video! That's so unfair. Though on the bright side I suppose your version was so accurate they thought it was a reupload of the same thing 😂
Really miss homemade movies, was really awesome going back to memory lane, must have watched each home made video 100s of times, hope there’s more to come in the future! 😊
Dustin this is so cool! Homemade movies are what made me want to be a filmmaker and now I am in my third year of film school. It is so inspiring to see that you are still doing it. I can't wait to see what comes next!
Wow, that music took me right back. Thanks for taking the time to do this Dustin! Even with the restrictions, it felt just like Homemade movies. Great work.
Wow gee thanks. Homemade Movies used to have a team of people making it. I made this at home 99% by myself during lockdown. I hardly think that qualifies as lazy. You can leave now.
@@DustFilmsOriginals wow thanks for replying.....by lazy i mean....just watch the justice league homemade trailer(and this one isn't lazy i likes this trailer v much)
Yes, I was the Executive Producer for that episode and oversaw its production with a full team of people in a proper studio who spent one month full-time making it as their actual jobs. So it’s quite a bit different than me just spending my own time making one by myself, at home with my own time and money and not getting paid a penny.... just for fun, for everyone to enjoy.
Hey Dustin! I’m a big fan of yours. I’ve been watching homemade movies for a long time. I’m also an actor and an upcoming filmmaker! Thank you for the great homemade trailer!
After I stopped producing the show from my house full-time someone attempted a fully green-screened Guardians of the Galaxy episode. I had no involved in that and it was truly terrible. But when Ben took over the show from his house he never used it and when I brought the show back as Executive Producer we never did. (It can be done well if it's done right! But that was just our own rule)
Amazing job Dustin!! I really respect how you were able to do all of this during quarantine and I really enjoyed seeing how you did it. Hope you're having a great day and I'll see you in the next video!!! ✌
I think that this is way more impressive than most of the other Homemade Movies, even though i do really like the “all in camera rule” i love the green screen effects, and it is still all Homemade with the costumes and miniatures.
Thanks! I think the end result isn't as shocking as everyone thought it would be (everyone that I told it to in the past that was against it). I think it's because there is a lot of terrible greenscreen/CGI online so they immediately pictured it not feeling homemade.
I know that this is only an extra because of boredom and I understand how these videos are so expensive and the money can barely be made back but how cool would it be if homemade movies actually did return but let’s face it it’s probably too good to be true
Hey Dustin next year when the coronavirus end make an update new the Batman homemade movies trailer with John hay. John hay made the Batman suit video on RU-vid
I have no idea what you're talking about and I think I'll go cry now. I've never stopped making videos. (In the past 5 years alone I've produced probably around 25 separate series.)
