Never seen someone made a triple-coil sub before. Interesting idea to be honest. The concept would work well if the coils are 6 or 3 ohms, as you can easily wire them to 2 or 1 ohm, by running all three in parallel
Neat. I like to use those n52s (smaller ones) in my headphones on the back of the driver magnet. Greatly increases dynamic range, attack speed and power handling. The ones I use are 3/4" for 40mm drivers. Cant imagine how strong the ones you're using are!
@@Saiful81 Nice. Yeah looks like it goes pretty low! I think I might try doing this with some old BIC 6.5s lying around I'd like to experiment on. Those neodymium magnets are great. Too bad prices are going up. You know those shields on the back of speakers? Any tips on removing those to experiment with the magnets?
Do u have to use thinner wire for clearance on the 3 coils vs. 2 wrapped coils? And have u thought of an inner Vcoil and and outer coil on the aluminum sleeve?
That speaker looks awesome have you ever thought of doing one with a see-through cone that's like completely see through it looks like glass kind of cool but it's kind of hard because you know everything that's thin and see through usually doesn't sound good with speakers but seeing how you build speakers you probably be all the work around that as an awesome speaker though I just collect a lot of vintage audio stuff from the 80s to 90s I have a 1970s bassjack Marshall sitting next to me that's one of the older ones I've collected and then some old crosley bookshelf speakers from the early eighties and then the newest is a scar audio subwoofer and some beat up home theater subwoofer box but it works and doesn't sound too bad I had to report for it though
