@@AmnaAleem2845 I didn't ask for an explanation. I understood it completely. My reply to her/his comment is an attempt for humor using one of the meme formats.
You've had Krispy Kreme donuts, but have you had fresh warm donuts from your local donut store made by a little Asian woman who says here you go sweetie as she gives you your donut. Like try me.😂 That's better
@@jamesmasters3316 hi! Would you suggest any differences to the glaze they made? I'm in another country and really want it to be as close to the original as possible, thanksss 😇
@@melb.3525 . 3 easy ingredients. 2 part granulated sugar, 1 parts confection sugar, and water. Bring to a boil for about 10 mins. Krispy Kreme's glaze has a small amount of gum base in it, but that is for the glaze not breaking down after a day. It's not necessary.
I tried this recipe today and it so yummy. I didn't include the glaze cause I don't have powdered sugar 😂😂 I just coat the donut with a little sugar. Thanks chef Alix for the recipe and tips.
I just used 1/3 cup of water. The important is that the yeast will bloom into teenager (lol) they did not said the amount of yeast too but i used 2 tbsp. Of yeast so that the donuts will not be sour.
‘I doughnut know if we can do it’ - (0:51) I almost missed the pun Edit: Thanks for all the likes!❤️ However, I didn’t mean to start a fight about if it’s spelt doughnut or donut 😆
@@dgrhoton8584 the original way of spelling is doughnut. 'Donut' is around only since Dunkin' donuts was opened. Outside of the US, people spell it doughnut.
If you want a proper Krismy Kreme donut go watch Emma's goodies donut recipe, they are the softest donuts you'll ever have and don't ever go hard like most homemade donuts do
Just a tip for the fluffiest bakes. When making a yeasted dough add 1/4 tsp citric acid, i'm not sure on the science behind it but just makes it so fluffy and soft
Alix has done a couple of these. Why would she be limited to Tasty? It's not like she's actually a better cook than the rest, just that she has a fandom. If the other Tasty cooks wanted a doughnut, the could make it themselves.
@Joe Dick There are channels where women 'review' their haul of bikinis and lingerie if that's what you want. Go find channels that offer what you are looking for instead of expecting the world to contort itself to provide what you want wherever you look.
No your not I didnt taste it as well Okay so just after a few days i wrote this comment my sisters friend bought krispy kremes for us 🙃( didnt even ask for it )and it was delicious people EAT IT
Tried them a few times in the UK! They are the best doughnuts I’ve ever tried but sadly in my country there’s no krispy Creme 😭 I think I’ll try this recipe! ❤️
That glaze definitely isn’t the same as Krispy Kreme. I hate the powdered sugar and milk kind of icing but love the icing that is used at donut shops. It’s very different!
tastys strength are seriously these videos with alix, rie, alvin, nikki, kiano as well (when she actually gets a longer video) i figure a lot of producers on the channel are mostly into cooking rather than being on camera though so i guess its understandable, i feel i see myself as an actual fan of the behind-the-scenes folks. they are so likable.
🤔I will try this recipe but mix it up my way say for instance I will sift my flour first add 1/2 tsp of baking powder to mu dry ingredients and vanilla extract to my wet ingredients. Add the wet ingredients in my stand mixer 1st and slowly add the flour in. That's how I will get a smoother dough.
You can tell the home made donut wasn't quite as light and fluffy because it was missing the pale equator. When you put the donut into the oil, it puffs up. When you flip it over, it's ideal if it had risen enough so that there is a thin strip that the oil never actually directly touched.
Add a touch of sugar to the yeast/ water in order to start feeding the yeast. Cream the butter and eggs with remaining sugar. Pour milk into first measure of flour. Add more flour, with salt, stir, then add your yeast/ sugar mixture and creamed eggs/ butter. Slowly add more sifted flour and make sure all is fully hydrated and combined.
@@mayann0-0no offence to Alix but I've watched my grandma cook several times and she knows just about as much as Alix about cooking. I believe knowledge just comes with experience if you cook a lot.
Hey tasty producers my name is Daniela and i wanted know if you can make a video on how to make gluten free wheet free doughnuts. i'm suggesting this because my mom suffers from an allergy to wheat and gluten. and this video made me think about making her doughnuts but I then realized that this recipe contains gluten and yeast and flour, and we can never find her kind of doughnuts in any store. so i was wondering if you guys can make how to make gluten free wheat free doughnuts maybe i can make them for my mom on mothers day! maybe if you take a look at this, you can hopefully think about it, Thank you
Donuts are MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE FOOD!! I once spent my 85 dollar bday money on 170 donuts! They were so good and I ate them all in a week so they wouldn't go bad!
