Homemade Yarn Winding Table 

Years ago my girlfriend started knitting, to date she's knitted hundreds of sweaters, so many of them, I had to build some places to put them because her dresser drawers became full of them. But last week she fell off a step stool which she has to use to wind her yarn on the back porch. When she fell, she somehow tore her arm open which required a trip to the hospital. Today, I just finished modifying a saw horse to be used as her new yarn winding table which doesn't require her stepping off the ground and balancing on a step stool. It's a portable unit that can easily fold away for storage or moving from place to place. She absolutely loved it when she saw it and I no longer have to worry about her falling hurting herself. It also has a shelf below it to hold extra yarn and stuff. It's very light weight and easily folds to be put away if that's necessary. #yarn #windingyarn
