Hey man! I’m a landscaper here, I figured I’d mention, whenever you get patios this bad and you pressure wash them, some of the compacted sand us landscapers put in between the pavers to keep them from moving gets washed out and the pavers can become unsettled down the line! Not saying you can avoid that!! But just wanted to mention it so that for your customers with paver patios, You should tell them that they should have their patios re-sanded after you’ve finished cleaning! All it takes is a few bags for a patio of this size and to be swept into the crevasses between the pavers! It only takes a minute to recommend this to them, and it’ll save them thousands and keep them from having to have their patios re done entirely down the line if the level of the pavers adjusts and moves after. When patios get this bad they usually have lost a lot of sand already but pressure washing them it’s unavoidable anyway and a few bags of sand costs a lot less for the customer than redoing it entirely in the end! :) awesome video bud!
Better yet, have a few bags of sand in your van that you can sell to - and spread for the customer for a premium. Saves them from having to go to the shops and adds another 'stream' of income.
Yeah ive seen on another pressure washing vid idk if it was his them doing the golden sand brushed over it at the end and then just using a leaf blower to blow off the excess.
It's avoidable if you carry some rubber strips cut to the width of the gaps and press them into the gaps around the stones before you start jet-washing them. It would add a few minutes to the job but would stop most of the sand getting washed away. Obviously you remove and reuse the rubber strips after you have washed each section clean. You could charge a little extra for this service of course.
That was a superb job Sid, big difference, customers will be happy with the Service you give and the business is getting bigger every week. You'll reach a 100,000 Subscribers very shortly. Great Achievement.👍.
Another GREAT one Mr. Sid!!! Wish homeowner would have asked you to clean that wooden fencing as well-as that would have ELEVATED the total finished look of the home!!!!!
Brilliant outcome! Amazing how the patio didn’t look that bad until you started cleaning it!! I’m not surprised you’ve got so many subscribers now - you do a fantastic job and your videos are very engaging. Well done you!
I know you can transform the slabs. That's a power washer positive. But what is so extra impressive re your total professionalism is your atrention to detail and care to ensure that the grass is as least affected as possible by the chemicals. The spraying and rinsing are so accurate!
This is the newest post that I could find. The reason your channel has done so well is that you are meticulous, dedicated, and knowledgeable. Your lack of pretension, your generosity and kindness, face it; you are a lovely bloke!
You work so incredibly hard. New video on same day of doing the job. Love that you show all the aspects of the job, like how the chemicals work etc. Looking forward to seeing the full video and 90k will be hit in no time.
Time to relax and enjoy myself while watching you work! It’s so calming and satisfying to see things cleaned and made beautiful again. I never realised how beautiful stone can be.
In my country, my dad would make the entire family scrub that floor with brushes on the weekend lol. Good old days. We lived in a tropical climate so the tiles outdoors will be covered with algae and moss quite often and twice a year the entire family (me, my two sisters and mom and dad) will get to work cleaning our garden. It's crazy how times changed so much where our lives have gotten so busy that we need to hire people to clean our own homes! A good business opportunity tho.
Actually, the old style srubbing is better for the stones.. Pressure washing with turbo damages the tiles and ads microscopic holes for more algae and moss to settle :) But if you got a brush to attach to the water, then its good :) Recently did our driveway with pavingstones and needed to use jetwash because former owner hadnt done it for years, but the next 3-4 times im gonna just brush it :) takes longer but its less of a mess and i wont damage the stones, and i wont need go buy extra sand
Hi Sid yet again you deliver, its the small things the attention to details, like cleaning the little strip behind the shed. Things like this will bring in more customers, I am happy for you and your success with your business and your youtube channel almost at 87000 subs
that's so cool! the front door stone came out looking like butter! so pretty! i still love how the framerate and the jets line up. it's such a nice effect! i'd never realised JUST how pesky the gravel rocks could be, just getting tossed about like that, wow-- those chems are maddening to me! you're just out here using it like it's nbd and like 'oh yeah it can burn your skin' like it's nothing lol though i gotta side w/ the owner! you did a lovely jubbly job!!!
I love those stones, I can't believe how filthy they get though. Totally satisfying, you're up to 167k subscribers as I watch this. Totally deserved, you put an amazing amount of effort into your job, your relationship with your customers, your equipment and teaching and explaining things to your RU-vid followers. Bravo Sid, not forgetting Kev and your dad & brother who help out too.
So this is what I do now: watching videos of people cleaning paths and yards untill I fall asleep. Gosh, I want those cleaning tools! It's sooo satisfying!
I love your attention to detail Sid. You are my favourite channel for patio cleaning! I watched another guy the other day on RU-vid and he wasn’t a patch on you. There was a bit of green on a wall and someone asked him in the comments why he didn’t give that bit a clean too and he said, well I wasn’t paid to do that. Fair enough but it would’ve taken him a few minutes! Made me want to switch off. Keep up the good work 👍🏻😄
Ah man this was great, the music was perfect the transformation was satisfying, the length of each section, I.E. the length of video dedicated to the front, the side, the back, and the super green areas was really good. I’m definitely going to check out the rest of your content. This made me really happy
Watching all that dirt, grime and algae go away is satisfying, but more satisfying is to watch when you fellas clean roofs and remove all that algae and moss from the tiles. That doesn't happen in my neck of the woods, too hot and too dry for moss to grow.
If you're ever stressed out or if life throws you some curve balls, have no fear. Just watch one of Sid's videos and all of your troubles will melt away. They're amazingly therapeutic. :)
Cracking job SID As always 👍 Indian sandstone looks sweet once the magic as happen !!. Thanks for sharing on this bank holiday looking forward to more mate 👍
There’s no one better than you! Hope you took some time to relax on your Bank Holiday. We don’t have those here in the States. Great video as always! 🥰❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
