HOMEOWNER Goes To JAIL… So The NEIGHBORS Asked Me For HELP ($0 YARD TRANSFORMATION)

A few years ago, I lived close to a house that looked like this ( the owner was an old woman with health issues)... I had to walk past it every day to get to the shop.... One day, the was a small crowd of maybe 10 people all complaining about it, snakes rats etc, and one asked me what I thought.... I said it was sad how the lovely gardens had gone wild and wondered if the owner would like some help? Had anyone asked her? Or were you all just standing outside her home whinging? I went and knocked on the door, asked if she would like me to weed, trim etc.... said I had helpers and pointed to the crowd who were listening to me... I made a day and time that suited her, said ,,, and of course everyone here will be here, yes? Nobody said no😂😂 The woman was so grateful she made scones, biscuits ( cookies) and endless tea, coffee and water... It took about a week to bring her garden back to its former glory?... Its sad that sometimes you have to shame to whingers into doing something besides whinge

A neighbor here ended up in ICU before Christmas. Neighbors close by and blocks away helped take care of all the snow shoveling and anything the yard or home needed done. The neighbor is not coming home... been put in assisted living, but none of us forgot what a giving neighbor he was and how he was always helping others. We'll all take care of his yard this summer too. Thank you for doing such a giving thing for someone else.

Now that's what I call hard work, skills, and a content creator...instead of gossiping on RU-vid about celebrities and begging for cash apps ... You are actually helping ppl and beautifying communities at the same time...

No Sir...you weren't too late.....that person came home to such a blessing left by you...out of all the complaints they could have helped but they chose to complain....You were right on time to show what kindness looks like to that person ❤ Bless you Sir❤

The neighbors could have all pitched in on this clean up. I can understand asking you for help but what happened to being neighborly. Leaves could have been raked. I’m sure there’s teenagers around. Would be a good lesson for them on helping others.

Watching you with the string trimmer and have noticed most times you go over the entire yard with it before using a mower. A testament to your work ethic and wanting to do the job right.

First of all thank God for a speedy recovery for you. And next time you have a lot of leaves try to mulch as much as you can with the lawn mower. Just get gather them on the lawn and start mulching. Glad you are feeling some better. I'm pleased someone reached- out to you for help. Helping a person who lands in jail may actually become a lifetime event, of remembering someone cared when they could do nothing themselves. Good t-shirt comment. Edging and cleaning the gutter and curb first, instantly gave a better look to the yard. This is unusual Landscape Archeology, re-finding a large plant bed with a trim that wasn't even visible, then whole panels of fence down and out-of-sight, that you could stand back up. About 17:39 I was admiring how much better you had made the place look, how it fit back into the neighborhood and that it really was an attractive home... and then you started doing "extras", like what plants shouldn't be there, what might be blocking walking areas...That was a good move in taking the vining off the fence. It took so many passes to get the place back in basic shape, that the actuality of some vines starting to raise havoc as well didn't catch my attention until the rest was much more orderly. 35:33 really showed what an excellent recovery you did. You see order when you see the completed yard, not any disorder.

Wow! I’m trying to find the right words and it’s difficult….this was a meticulous transformation, yes, positively AMAZING!! You did GOOD 👍 My problem while watching was I couldn’t help wondering why not one neighbor could find it in their hearts to do it before calling the city? Did they try talking to the person living there and offer assistance? And having said all that, if it bothered the neighbors so much why didn’t they all chip in and PAY you to deal with it? It never ceases to amaze me when people expect a total stranger to solve their problems for them instead of solving their own and for FREE no less. That was a lot of work for you but also for your equipment. That neither you nor your equipment said "I can't do it anymore" and collapse or blow up from exhaustion was a feat. It changed this property from looking abandoned to a place someone could have pride in again. Amazing work. Well done.

I’m thankful for those like you that make the right decision and are able to be kind and generous enough to help others in need. I have had opportunities to help others and felt great afterwards even when I would come home tired and sore. Now I am old and in need of some of that help now myself and have found out how hard it is to come by. Keep doing the good work and helping others. I believe it’s what God would want us to do. The front of the house was my favorite part. Especially how you cleaned out the flower beds and edged the grass. It looked like a completely different yard. Great job!

Very good result ! A lot of neighbours complain and others say where are all the neighbours when it needed cutting. Im up in Scandinavia and its a catch 22 ! .... Do I cut and piss the neighbour off? or what if I just jump in and get stuck in ? .... Some people prefer to be left alone. ----- Im originally from London Uk and the local authority cut the side walks and roads which is included in house tax ! 2m from the road is responsible by ................

Improvement: Awsome! I hate leaves, and with a dozen mature leaf shedding trees around my house, I have stopped hand raking and bagging them. Thankfully I live next to a wooded raavine and between the leaf blower and the riding mower the leaves are mulched, shreadded and blown into the ravine. You did one heck of a job on that lawn. Now lets just hope the neighbors pitch in after all your hard work and continue to maintain it if they want their neighborhood to look nice. Kudos to you and your hard work.

You are a genius in these windy conditions by leaf blowing with the wind. You will be surprised how many gardeners do it the wrong way. I also love the very soothing music at the end ... yer a pro!!!
