Because they want the fake games they are presenting to look difficult so near the end they deliberately make an idiotic decision to make the puzzle look harder.

There is a game called "Save the Girl" which is exactly that: you actually choose items that can "save" or "doom" the girl. However, it should only be played in Airplane Mode with Wi-Fi disabled because of all the laggy ADS. (The "watch a video to get double coins" is not worth it.)
Homescapes and their other games guilty of this malicious advertising are absolutely disgusting. It's hard to think that a professional videogame company like Playrix would do this Illegal advertising. If Nintendo did this, they would be in very serious trouble as Playrix should be. I wish I knew how to sue them. They would be so sorry for this. I hope the owners rot in jail for this. Please expose Gardenscapes, Fishdom, Township & Matchington Mansion next.

False advertising isn’t against the law. They shouldn’t get sued for this neither should the go to prison over it. I personally think apple shouldn’t allow false advertising on their App Store.
UPDATE: the game now has included the advertised gameplay but makes it "minigames" that you only get once in a while after completing so in so candy crush like gameplay, and they call it Austins dreams but its still scummy because they don't advertise the 90% gameplay

There’s a format of a runner, episode, fixer, investigation, and escape and they have styles from the regular 3D setting, a 2D adult cartoon like, and even a MSP section in 8:39

Yeah me too, like the game in the ads actually look fun. My sister and I downloaded it because we thought it was like that. The real game is nothing like that, my sister still likes it tho. I really hate that there is so many ads like that, and are nothing like the app. So annoying.
Agreed! The programmers already put enough effort into the advertisement to make the game look more fun than it is. They may as well create a game that actually plays the same way the ad is shown, and they would get even more downloads.

I remember I got this game, but I didn't see the ads, so I literally played the game for what it actually was. It's genuinely fun for me, wish they would show actual gameplay in the ads.
This game was genuine with its ads at one point in time. I don't know what happened. I guess it's niche of being a more laidback kind of game was no longer appealing? I dunno.

Actually, I don't know if somebody has comented this, but they made an update a while ago with the same game from the ads. The game is still the ''candy crush'' concept, but sometimes you can do minigames to earn extra coins!

@@Tarnage Yup Lilys Garden came AFTER playrix games like Gardenscapes Homescapes Township,etc but i believe Lilys Garden were one of the first games to do this sort of false advertising before playrix did.
And also i think the reason why Playrix were trying make a quick buck out of these commercials is because their games like Gardenscapes Homescapes and all of playrixs shit were dying out so they decided to use the shitty 3 options format of ads just to get that sweet dank downloads I have an another theory they were doing it for attention Playrix was pretty unknown to the internet before the false ads infact i knew who playrix were before they made their fake ads i feel like they were doing it for attention and trying to get a reaction by the int. Somehow Homescapes do have a mini game called Austin’s dream where you can earn money when completed, it’s like the one where you need to pull a key out to pull another key out. But everything in the video doesn’t exist in Homescapes. 😂

I've been playing this game for 2 years now, I love it. But I noticed that the advertising for it changed. When I first downloaded it, the advertisement was good, showing that you play match 3 games to renovate the house, and it's very fun. Now, these ads are the most misleading of any game I've seen so far.
