We have been looking for a good bible curriculum for a while! Would love to be a tester for the K-3 ;) I have no idea why there would be thumbs down for this video!

I would tackle matters of the heart for the older ages... as they are facing puberty and serious changes... this sounds really nice... can’t wait to see it.

Holy cow I was just looking at this curriculum on MB and was considering it. I had no clue it was written by you! What an accomplishment mama! Can’t wait to see it! The cover is beautiful. I feel like this book will take aaaalll of the headache out of trying to include Bible, poetry, morning basket, character studies, and more. Yay! Can’t wait!

My 10 and 12 yr old boys enjoy memorizing scripture, reading and discussing Scripture and discussing how it is relevant to them today. They are also starting to lead in prayer time.

I am SOOOO excited about this! Just what this ADD Momma needs to help pull so many great concepts together! As for the older kids one BIG challenge my 13 year old has talked to me about is how to create that personal time with God that isn't just read and answer questions. He really wants to enjoy time with God, and not feel like it is another chore or subject to check off the daily to-do list. So, giving tips and ideas to allow them to grow a toolbox of ways to engage with God in a meaningful way. By your explanation some of this may already be built in, but for this young teen age I think it is even more so important. They aren't quite full on teen/adults ready to be fully independent and yet aren't fully a child needing full hand holding so a lot of material available misses this precious age and kids feel either it is too boring/above them or too childish. I would love to see assignments built in that cause them to have to engage in new "toolbox" strategies so they can explore and see which ways fit best with their God given gifts and personalities. Thanks for putting all this work into helping our kids grow to love God! ♥️

I love the idea of tackling culturally controversial topics in Junior High, when they are super ready for debating. For high school I would love to discuss things they are going to encounter in college, Lifestyles and decisions that they're going to be surrounded by and how to handle that from a Biblical perspective. Also why people choose those Lifestyles and decisions- getting to the heart of things, which I know you do anyway :-)

I just found you a few days ago and have been BINGE watching your videos! I have 5 boys under seven and I am loving how real you are and I am thrilled to see your curriculum come out!!! I'm going to go check your blog and see if it's out yet!

For this day and age i feel like we really need to give our kids a rock solid foundation in their faith. The world will be able to shake loose any doubts or gaps that havent been addressed with outright contempt. For your highschool cirriculum my ideas would be threefold. First stress the Biblical story as a whole. Why is the old testament important and is vital to the understanding of the new testament. Secondly, a study of the choices and resulting consequences throughout the Bible. What are God's motivations for setting up rules and boundaries...could the people in the Bible chosen differently and what would those consequences be? You could write these stories in a more current voice and then give them a passage to read. For example shorter versions of Francine Rivers Redeeming Love ...the retelling of the book of Hosea. Suddenly for me she became alive and less evil manipulative woman. Third, a study of evidence that confirms the scriptural account of science, archaeology, genealogy. Science- how long does it take to make a fossil? Find examples of car keys in rock...a study of mount st. Helens before and after. Archaeology- josephs tomb in Egypt, the several excavations of Jericho, evidence of the temple in Jerusalem. Its complicated evidence we don't hear about. Some references for you might be Is Genesis History? Patterns of Evidence- Exodus. Genealogy- have them research their own family trees or someone begat someone and so on. It is remarkable for teens to see Gods hand in bringing people together in order for them to be alive. Go back as far as you can and you can see Gods hand in the history as well. My kids would not be here if my husbands family did not move to Canada because of the American revolution or if Mennonites in Russia weren't persecuted. Sorry for tge supper long message but I hope this inspires you more. Ive found it difficult to find Bible cirriculum so way to go for making your own. Thanks for your channel Im a new subscriber.

This sounds amazing. As I'm starting out with homeschool I don't want just question/answer Bible curriculum, but there's so much I have yet to be able to look into...this sounds so unique, I hope to look into this further.

Is this book going to be mostly consumables? Or just a few pages are consumables? Trying to decide if I need 1 book per kid or just 1 book in general...

This sounds great. I love this CM approach to bible and faith. I think it sounds like a natural fit. This will be a nice contrast in style to our RC and will hopefully make it the kids favorite part of the day.

This sounds great. When I look for Bible programs I look for applicable and worldview as opposed to just stories...so thanks for that! I had a comment and a question. Comment: the way you titled it Who is God and Who am I sounds a lot like Apologia's worldview. That's what we use now. Question: what bible version will it be written in? Thanks!

Ahh I'm so excited! We havent found anything we love yet but this sounds so good! We love Masterbooks (LLFLE, Gods Design for life for beginners, my story and MLFLE). I love how this will fit perfectly with those! I had a question. I know there will be levels...lower elementary, upper elementary, middle school and high school. What would you recommend for the kids who may be on the younger side of one of those age groups and completes it? Repeat that same level a few times? Do something different?
