I’m so happy you were able to go on this sweet trip with your friend! SC has been on my list to visit. I’m in WA and if I needed to move SC & TN comes to mind. I have never been to either state though. Sounds like Springtime was the perfect time to go! It was fun seeing this different side of you. Able to relax and have fun with your gal pal. You saying longest travel time is 8 hours made me laugh because I did non profit in Uganda 3 times and then went onto marrying an Aussie & moving here and did upwards to 20 hours of travel each time. Oh how I wish 8 hours was my max 😂🥰

Looks like a great place!! I’ll have to keep this in mind for my girls trip with my mom and sister! We’ve been to Sarasota, FL, South Padre, TX , Chicago, Cincinnati, Traverse City, MI. So much fun! I’m so glad you got a chance to get away!

We were there last year to celebrate my daughters birthday and LOVE SC!! So much to see and do. And the people are lovely. Came back telling people "Bless Your Heart"...LOL!

Ahhh Charleston… my favorite! We live a few hours away and visit often and it NEVER disappoints. The food, the shopping, the beauty, the history, I could go on and on. If I were a rich mama I’d buy a place in Charleston I love it that much! Southern charm at its finest! Great video and great recommendations I agree with all of them!

Ashlee, we used to live in the Mojave Desert not too far from Death Valley, so I know how special is was to see all that beautiful green and lush vegetation!!! Fun trip! Thank you for sharing. May I ask how you found the house you rented? I would love to do something like that for a little variety instead of staying in a hotel or campground. That antique shop looked fabulous! I love used books, and I see they had a lot of Hardy Boys books on display! Lol! They immediately jumped right out at me!

Yes we love living in Charleston and seems like everyone else does too by the droves of people moving here 😒 So glad you enjoyed your girls’ trip and looks like you hit all the great spots! The restaurants here are fabulous and you could literally try a different one each night of the year- there are soooo many!!

I’m glad you had fun on your trip, even though it was an unseasonably cool weekend. We absolutely love living in SC. We live in Hilton Head but frequently go to Charleston for medical appointments for my youngest. Traffic is the only negative.

Save the Savannah Georgia trip for a family trip. That city is so full of history and just an amazing place to visit. We spent one night there a few years ago and I fell in love with it. We would love to go back one day.
