I love how you put together your playroom, and I love the wooden toy selection you have! We have toy overload at my house because my youngest has been given all of her older sister’s baby dolls and toys…plus, new toys from her birthday and Christmas. I’ve gotten rid of our baby toys, but we still have quite a bit for the only child in our home who still plays with toys. The main categories she has are: dolls, costumes for dress-up, toy kitchen with play food, Legos, magnatiles, a large marble run, and wooden magnetic dress up dolls. I love how simplistic your system is!
We do morning and afternoon basket too! I like how breaking it up helps the day flow better. You did a great job of using all the little spots all throughout your house to keep books and curriculum.
I love how it’s play focused!!! We watch birds thruout the windows when it gets too hot!!! We are yet to use the room we built for homeschool when we build the house!!! I organise printables like that but laying flat in a drawer so harder to find!!! We homeschool in our dining area of our great room (open layout of our living/dining room and kitchen!!! My older kids check their answers and come to us if they can’t work out why they aren’t getting it right!!! We love Couch schooling and also beach schooling!!! We do a afternoon basket as my older kids don’t wake till noon!!!
I'm so glad I found you!! Another mom homeschooling in NYC. I just started my homeschool journey and I am so grateful to God. I'm documenting our journey because I just feel like it is such a beautiful gift that deserves documentation. Love this, my favorite was the art shelf :)
