okay so i love this video because the girl is seemingly dressed like a little kid and moves like a 3 years old with a bubbliness ( i say that in the best way possible) and she moves caustiously towards the new “rug monster” like a shy child meeting her parents friends for the first time or something. this is very where the wild things are- esque. she then moves with the creature connecting with it. you then see the rug monster being alone at the end. i very much think the director meant to give her a child-like role in this video.
