The easiest way I can explain Homestar to people who haven’t watched it is like if the muppet show were conceived at the dawn of the internet instead of the 70’s

Having Homestar Runner be the main character by title, and Strong Bad being the most important main character, is like Dr. Slump having Senbei Norimaki as the main character by title, but Arale is the most important main character.

In borderlands 2 or 3 I forget which, there's two references to homestar runner as there's a guy in a bar who finishes a comment as you walk in where he says "and that's why they call me the yellow dart!" And I believe in borderlands 3 Mr torque gives you a mission to blow up the ocean, a reference to the cheat commandos

It’s kind of funny that the spy flash is dead home star runner is still alive and Kickin. I love this series I used to watch it with my father when I was a little kid my favorite episode was always the gimmick of strong about the email and I would always laugh when strong bad computer explodes
