You make everything that you do look so easy! Here’s a tip that you might find helpful. Years ago I had an organic garden. Someone told me a super easy way to grow potatoes that really works. Have a patch of dirt without weeds, lay your seed potatoes on top -DON’T DIG- cover them with at least foot deep of straw. As the potato vines grow you may need to add more straw, but I never did. The idea is to keep the sunlight from reaching the potatoes. The vines will grow through the straw and hold it in place. When the vines die simply roll back the dead vines and straw. Voilà! There are all of your big, beautiful, clean potatoes. No digging. No cut potatoes. It was so much fun, it was like Christmas morning. This does not work for sweet potatoes, only white potatoes.

Whenever I had an ear infection as a child, my mum put a clove of garlic cut up in a table spoon then added a little bit of olive oil and heated it up or rather let it boil on the fire, then let it cool off and dropped a few drops in my ear and the infection was gone. My mom used a lot of natural remedies like this one.

Kinda funny to me that some people get indignant about natural remedies…I mean, it’s not like antibiotics have been around forever, somethings were actually used before them, right? 🤷‍♀️

New subscriber! Glad I found your channel! My MIL taught me the garlic trick 20+ years ago when my oldest ones were little and although I thought I was pretty open to natural ways, I was scared to try it because I just thought it sounded weird to put raw garlic inside an ear lol. But when I finally tried it, it really did work! I've been on a journey of learning natural health since then. I'm now a certified holistic nutritionist, herbalist, and wellness coach!

I grew up in Northern Virginia - My mother and grandmother always used pickles or relish (dill) , and mustard in their potato salad. That's how I learned to make it, and still do today. I also use bacon in mine, too. Your recipe is very similar to mine. I totally agree with you about making your own mayonnaise - SO much better!

It is crazy that they don't teach that, but they don't. I know a lot of doctors and nurses and not only were they not taught those things, but they also only spent about one week of school on nutrition and it was just an overview. Yet nutrition is the basis of all health.

This, my kids are ever hardly prescribed antibiotics by their pediatricians I have 3 kids and only 1 has ever used them due to a pretty bad UTI that turned into a kidney infection, their pediatrician are not holistic but they are conservative on the overuse of medication and antibiotics, not all pediatricians push antibiotics and unnecessary medications.

Putting salt in the bath water and swimming in the sea/ocean is also good to prevent ORL complications. After the bath, you must lay your head one side and then the other side and it will drain all the crap you have in your ORL system.

Hi there! New sub from suggestions and fellow creator. I'm also a nurse of 20 years and grew up homesteading. Yes, I agree, I would have done thing differently as well with the children. Maybe I can pass that onto my children of the knowledge we now have. Bless you! Nice to meet you Eggs: tap the fat end til you hear the crack, you may not see it, and then boil as normal. That will allow the water in and in the cold bath afterwards, the membrane released and they'll peel perfectly Everytime. I used to rely on baking soda trick and it still didn't always work. The tap works ALWAYS! 😊 We use sweet pickles in our salads. We like sweet salad not dill. Even in the deviled eggs.

We have a 30 year old daughter ,she has a 7 year old & we started over in our older age & have a 5 year old daughter with Down syndrome. She stopped talking after her 2 year vaccines!! After researching & working myself in health care for many years i realize the corruption around it all . She has no longer been vaccinated. I homeschool her & take a total holistic approach & she’s so smart & healthy compared to the other kids we know with DS. That's a good idea about the garlic. What we do for our ears, is use a homemade ear rinse. My husband has issues when he gets water in his ears, so every night after a shower, he puts a mixture that he made, 1/2 Apple Cider Vinegar and 1/2 alcohol. He has a squirt bottle ( a bottle that Sriracha came in - of course we washed it out really, really good) he fills that with the 1/2 and 1/2 mixture and uses it every night, just tilts his head, puts a drop in, then tilt his head and dumps it out. Its sort of like a homemade swimmers ears concoction :) BUT I've noticed that even when I get the first signs of any kind of sinus infection or head cold, I wash my ears out with it and it seems to nip it in the bud. For an ear ache , I would use this mixture and then warm up some coconut oil and put it in and then a cotton ball. Momma use to use sweet oil when I when young, but coconut oil is antibacterial, anti-fungal and antimicrobial. Hope this is helpful. I really enjoy your channel.

Chiropractor was the trick for my littles with ear infections! Just a couple adjustments is all it took 🙌🏻 A few of my babies were adjusted as newborn and we didn’t have ear infections-we had moved a couple times while my oldest son was a baby and I didn’t find trusted chiro so never went and he had nonstop infections antibiotic’s etc. and one day it hit me🤦🏻‍♀️ he never got adjusted -two adjustments and he never had another🙌🏻 I LOVE RELISH IN POTATO SALAD-sadly my husband doesn’t like pickles Or basically green food🤦🏻‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤪 I just add it on top of my serving Doing boiled eggs Instapot has become my favorite way for fresh eggs! Always make extras as one or two usually bust open🤷‍♀️but the shells just slip right off🙌🏻

My daughter had tubes at1 1/2 years and after that when here ear hurt we used a bow dryer or heating pad on low , always putting Hands on the blow dryer or heating pad to make sure not to hot , on ear to dry moisture and sometimes dymatap to dry the moisture . But didn’t know that about garlic so I’m sure it works for everyone, the garlic. 😊

That’s right! Garlic does work for eachaches. It also works for clogged nose when you catch a cold. I also recommend geranium leaf for earache. You fold it and you put it in your ear, not too deep. My great grandma would sometimes walk around with the leaf in her ear and she was using it for earache. We do the same now as well. Your channel is a knowledge mine and it's the kind of knowledge i like and value. Good job!

Do you place the garlic piece in the nose for a stuffy nose? Sorry it's a silly question but just wanted to confirm

@@Da_Smore yes. You take the clove, you make a cut so the juices are released quicker, and put it up your nose. It will burn at first but works pretty fast. It’s a natural antibiotic.
